Iti Koha fixed her pools upon Spud as she sat upon her head, intwined with the multi coloured strands of her forelock. Thinking over the stallions words, question after question popped into the small dish of the flicka. She picked out the ones she thought would be most informative to recieve information in answers Is it because of alliances? Or because other horses will have powers? Will we be able to stop it? they came out much quicker then she had wished so she stopped their and fell into silence, watching Spud smiling cheerfully as she listened to the conversation. Koha was unsure if the stallion would answer all her question but she did not mind. Despite her intellegence and maturity, she was still a young filly and could only understand so much

An almost hurt expression came over the stallion, as if he had been betrayed somehow. "I don't know." His words were barely audible as he spoke them. His eyes were still shut but he wasn't resting, just thinking about what he had seen. He couldn't help but wonder why he had seen this when it had given him no answers at all and had not helped him to know what he must do. Something made him think that it would be a long time before this would happen so it did not worry him as much and it was starting to move towards the back of his mind.[/blockquote]

Iti Koha saw the look of hurt and it wrenched at herself in turn. Reaching out to the stallion once more, her soft touch travelled over his shoulder and the base of his neck. Though she was of tall breeding, her frame was slight and tiny compared to the might of the titan. She was not intimidated though. She was quite a brave filly. Her next words were calm and steady, said in a softer voice then her normal one We will fight it. Others too. it was not a question. It was intended to cheer him up, and also what the flicka believed. Others would not wish the horror that the stallion must have seen and therefore would want to stop it. They would fight it

The stallion couldn't help but smile at her attempts to cheer him up. It was starting to work and they could soon go into her teaching session. A teaching session that would become a part of everyday life for them, she would need to learn how to control her powers and how to know when to use it and when not to use it. He lifted his head and with it his spirits lifted as well. He smiled at her and his eyes seemed to cheer up as well, giving him a better and more magnificent appearance. Even though his sadness had held it's own beauty for him he always did look his best when he was calm and in control of the things around him. But what he had seen had troubled him deeply because he had not been able to control that vision like he had been able to do to so many of the other before it, he was supposed to be able to control any and all of the visions that he saw, he was supposed to be able to call them up at will so that he could go over them again and again. Those that he saw were also not supposed to be able to see him and yet these horses had. He didn't know what made this one different from all the other, all the others that had worked like they had to. It confused him slightly but he knew that it had to be a vision sent to him by his father, his mother had told him about his father but he had not yet been able to meet him. His mother had told him that he might meet him at some point but neither she nor he knew when that point in time would be. It was hard to think of these things when his excitement was growing again to see what the filly would be able to do today. He had found that he enjoyed teaching her to do these things and it was quite interesting to see how quickly she learnt them too. he had never had the chance to teach a young horse anything, he didn't take a mate and so would not have any foals unless he were to adopt foals that were abandoned or just left alone in the world because of some great event that had had to take the lives of many important horses in their young lives. He glanced at Spud who was sitting on a rock watching them, she knew that they were going to have a lesson and she was growing more and more excited with every passing moment as she sat there and waite dto see what they would be doing today. The large stallion flicked his tail and turned around, he walked onto where there was a thick layer of grass and made a medium sized circle in the midst of it all. It was a circle of rock, it happened as he passed, seeming as if nature itself was doing it by choice. In the middle of this rock circle he let a pile of sand come to rest, it float through the air, creating swirling patterns as it flew through the air towards the circle and then it calmly and slowly drifted down onto the rock. Some of the sand particles even seemed to be acting in mischievous ways and would fly up again in the company of all the calmer sand particles but then it would settle down again like a student that had been scolded for misbehavious by its teacher. The stallion went to stand on the opposite side of the circle from the filly and he motioned for her to come to him and stand on the other site. He watched the sand as it spear itself out a bit more instead of just being a pile of sand. Low walls of rick was created around the circle as well, as if to protect the little particles of sand that was kept inside of its protective border. The stallion's gaze did not lift from the sand and nor would it until the filly was standing in front of him and all this had finished happening. He was smiling slightly, using magic like this always made a smile come to his face for he enjoyed it and he rarely ever got to use these types of magic because there was rarely ever a need for him to use it. His face was completely calm as he waited but no one could know what he waited for.

Iti Koha watched it all with a look of sheer amazement. Never before ad she seen one with magic, and he used it so easily. Like second nature. It didnt drain him like hers did, and he enjoyed every bit of it. Koha had enjoyed using her magic, and the sense that she had a powerful gift. Yet there was alot of it she did not understand. It was in control of itself really, she could only manipulate it as it used her body to be released. Stepping forward, she looked to Spud before drawing in a deep breath. She wanted to be able to control every inch of her powers. Though she respected them as their own force, she understood what lack of control could result in. Snorting softly as she felt a current of energy travel up her pillar as she stepped upon the stallions stage. His training ring was perfect. Walking along the edge she reached the stallions side, eager to start training and feel her powers energy. Towers flicked back and forth and muzzle twitched and she trembled with exciment from time to time. Her pools travelled around, focusing on bits of movement, to the stallion, to Spud and back to the grains. Koha waited for the stallion to direct her to the next step

All breathing stopped as the stallion turned his head towards the filly. Eyes invited her to open her mind to him and to recieve what he was giving her. What she would see if she did not shut it out was a clear image of what he wanted her to do. Every grain of sand that lay before her had a place where it fit. It was like a puzzle, a very complicated puzzle that was not made up of a picture and so created no easy way of knowing where each piece fit. Every part of the world before the pit of sand, the two horses and the littl ecreature would become a blur to her in her concentration. He would have nothing to do with it, it would be her own mind being focused upon just those few things and ignoring all else. He knew that she would recieve the image and waited until he knew that she would see it before he spoke. "That is your task, Iti Koha. Each and every little grain of sand that you see has a place in this puzzle that is so similar to the puzzle of life. You will know when it fits and when it doesn't but to create this puzzle you must master your skills." He knew that it would take her a long time to accomplish this task that he had given her. He would let her work on it for as much as she wanted, only making her take breaks when he thought it might become too much. He would not help her but he would answer her questions and give advice whenever she asked him. If she could do this then she would be able to accomplish anything that she set her mind to. It was a challenging this that he was giving her to do but it was what his father had made him do to learn his skills fully. Even though his tasks had been much harder when it came to his other powers. "I cannot help you but you may take as long as you wish. When you master it you have mastered your power. Advice I can give and you would be wise to ask for it." He was speaking softly, almost as if he didn't want to disturb the image that would make the young filly's mind its home. He stepped backwards, leaving the filly to her own thoughts and he retreated to the tree where Spud had no settled herself on a branch. He smiled at Spud politely as a greeting as he went to stand next to her and watch the filly. He would see how well she did at this task, if she did well then maybe he would need to give her something more challenging. It would create a challenge for him too, he would have to think of something to challenge her. He didn't doubt though that she would do well because he could tell that her power was great. All she needed to do was learn to use it.

Iti Koha watched and listened in awe. This was going to be a challenge indeed. She stretched opne her mind to the stallion and his words, disecting every word to gain the most from it. She could do this she was sure. It would just take time and concentration. Looking to the stallion now standing next to Spud, the filly took a deep breath flashed them a small, nervous smile then turned her tiara to the challenge. Boldly she stepped closer, her orbs wide and bright yet with a small glaze to them. She was watching things work inside her mind. With her arched nape and proud stance she was a picture of pride, strength and beauty. If her companions had known her father, they would be able to reognise him in his daughter standing there lost in concentration and determination. Both her parents had been skilled and powerful. Yet she was the only one who had powers. A smile flickered upon her lips, a soft and dainty one as she remembered ehr family. To see their faces while she manouvered the earth around her. The grains started to tremble and Iti Koha locked onto that. The outside world was lost to her as she used all her concentration to find and control each and every grain before her. It was a hard task but she was doing it well.
Gently, slowly, the flicka shifted round the grains. Slowly, gently, she started moving them into place. Her gaze never drifted nor did her stance shift. Her ears though, her little brown coloured ears, flicked and twisted as though they moved with her powers. As did the sand. As if disturbed by a force beneath them, they shifted and moved in great waves. It was much easier to move them like this then try to move an individual and a group at the same time. Slowly she started completing the puzzle. She focused on one bit then the next, working from one side inwards the going round. Bit by bit she was making it work. The day went on, the sun beat down from between the tree branches. Her lithe body was starting to shake from exhuastion, her pelt covered with sweat. Yet still she remained in her trancelike state and did not move. Only her ears and her sand moved. Along with the rise and fall of her chest as she took in one breath after the last was released. Her confidence and skill had maximised over the last couple of hours and she now completed pieces of the puzzle with ease and little time. It was getting on, late in the afternoon when dust was about to take place in no more then half an hour, that the filly fitted the last pieces together. To her it looked right, it fitted her minds imaging. Tiredly she looked to the stallion with a questioning glance. Long pillars shook but she refused to give in or move untill the stallion stated if it was right or not. If it wasnt she would work on it more, no matter how much her body protested. Now she was out of her trance state, her nares were wider to take in more of the sweet air around her. She waited patiently for her teacher and stole a glance at Spud while the stallion looked

Spud sat on the tree branch, her tiny fingers digging into the bark as she held herself steady while she leaned forward. Her mouth slightly open in awe of what the filly was doing, had done. She followed each and every bit of the puzzle as the filly did it, nodding every time she fitted parts of it together. To her the puzzle seemed right as well as she looked at the stallion, her creater, her master. He was the one that would give the final word, would either make or destroy the filly's day. Spud hoped that the filly's efforts hadn't been wasted, several times she had wanted to go and help the filly, to aid her by giving her strength but a look from the stallion had stopped her every time and made her watch with a concerned expression. But she knew that the stallion knew what he was doing and that he would never hurt the filly. It was becoming quite clear that he saw this filly as his daughter now, he had adopted her in a way as a part of his family. Spud was amazed by her skill and wondered whether there was anyone else out there that could do this too and whether they had such a great tutor as this stallion. But she knew that there wasn't, this stallion was the only one that would be able to teach this filly as he would be the only one that could do the things that she could and teach her how to do them. Already she was stronger than most other horses, even the most strongest of them. Already her power had overpowered so many others, even the greatest of them. She waited anxiously for the stallion's verdict as to whether the filly's work of art was satisfactory. There was no expression on the stallion's features as he stared at the work that the filly had done. He started to slowly shake his head and it almost seemed as if he was going to say that the filly had done it all wrong, that she would have to start all over again. It almost looked like he was going to say that all the filly's time and energy had been wasted. He made the sand stay suspended where it was and cut off the filly's magic so that she wouldn't need to hold it there for his inspection. He stepped closer to it, his eyes turning light purple as he inspected every grain of sand without having to move them. He came to a standstill next to the filly, staring at the sand before him without any expression at all on his face. "Impossible............" He mumbled to himself and started listing every piece of the puzzle out loud as he checked it again and again, making sure over and over that everything was in the right place, that nothing was out of order. Finallyhis eyes turned back to normal as he turned to face the filly, astonishment filled his eyes as he looked at her, studied her. Such a small thing she was and yet such great power that she had just used, power that he had had to learn much later but only because he had had to learn so many of them at the same time. "Every grain of sand is where it should be, the whole puzzle is as it should be..." He spoke softly, like he couldn't belive what he was saying and he couldn't. How could this small filly just have done such a great thing in such a small amount of time. She hadn't taken that long to create this puzzle, he himself had taken much longer but his instructions had been more exact and he had had no chance to find the easier way of doing it like she had. He couldn't quite understand how she had done it, he had thought that it might take her a few days to get it right yet it hadn't and here right in front of him the puzzle floated, exactly as it should be. He let the grains of sand slowly drop one by one into the circle of stones where they had been. "But how? How did you do it so quickly, without needing to rest?" He felt the need to ask her, to make sure that she knew how she had done it. He was pleased with what she had done and it now showed on his features as he turned to her tired little frame with a smile. He was happy for her and glad that it hadn't taken too long or he would have grown bored himself with the whole excercise.

An inward groan each time he looked as if he would say she was wrong. It had taken so much, both mentally and physically. She felt like she wanted to sleep for a week. The sweat on her coat was drying making it stiff and uncomfortable. She still kept herself upright and watched her teacher. Finally the verdict came through and she nearly collapsed with releif. He asked her how and she asked herself. Taking a deep breath she tried to explain I...I dont know. I focused so hard on it and it was like it wasnt me. It was like another horse had come and sat inside my body to command my powers. But I know it was me because....I dont know why but they knew me and I knew them. It was me. But a different me. We looked at the puzzle and we could see it, I could see it. How it should be. I still didnt know how it went together or anything. I asked the sand....can you imagine that.....me asking sand. It didnt know either. It tried to help but all it knew was it had a place to go. It went with my every command. It was rather playful. It was like a game. I had to shift them around and fit them in. They knew when they were in the right place and so did I. It was hard but not impossible. It took so much thinking. All the time I could feel my power draining my energy, straining me to my everything. I wanted to complete the puzzle so much. I could see it working and I made it work. I ......thats all I know she shrugged and her lids drooped. She could see Spud and the stallion still. Finally her tired, aching body could take it no longer and on trembling limbs she lowered herself to the floor. Her lids did not fully cover her bright orbs and she kept them focused on the studs pillars. Her harks were focused upon him too

The little creature squelled in delight as he said that it was right. She jumped up and down on the branch but when the filly lay down she went to her and hugged her neck, stroking the filly's neck softly. She felt sorry for the poor filly. "You poor poor thing, you must have worked yourself half to death." She gave the stallion a scolding look, blaming him for all of this. The stallion lowered his head to the filly's. "Sleep now." He told her softly and let peace flow from him into her so that she would not dream or have nightmares at all but so that she would sleep peacefully and regain all her strength and energy. He smiled at Spud and blew out at her softly and playfully. "She'll be fine." He told her.

As Spud came to her Koha breathed out contentment. The soft, rhythmic stroking was marvoulous to the slight equine. Such comfort flowed fom each gesture. She felt and saw the stallion lower his head to hers and she smiled at him and opened her eyes wide. In her eyes shon love and thanks. She was thankful for the puzzle. She had felt so powerful and gifted. She had forgot to say that to the two. After some rest, she decided. He gave her the command to sleep and obediantly her lids closed and with her last breath out, conciousness slid from her form and she delved into a dreamless sleep.
Many hourse later, closer to midday with sunlight streaming down through the trees to filter through the lids of the sleeping filly. Lids fluttered open and bright orbs ajusted to the even brighter light. Yawning she raised her dial and looked about. It was a beautiful day. Stretching and smiling happily, Iti Koha pulled herself up and walked slowly to the stream. Her body was still tired for the other day but her mind had healed nicely. The cooling water washed away the built up grime and sweat and she walked knee deep in before lowering herself fully. The cool, bubbling water rushed over her body in a delightful manner. She giggled happily and found the stallion with her eyes. They were bright and friendly as they watched him. They flickered upon Spud and she let a chortle of laughter escape her. She was feelng overly happy and couldnt contain her joy at being alive....and knowing how powerful she could get. She had seen and felt it. When she grew and trained her powers she would be a great mare with an even greater ability. Flickering her gaze between the two most important beings in her life, the flicka smiled happily and layed back in the water

Spud sat on a rock and played with her tiny feet in the water. Her wings were wet and so was her hair. It appeared that she had been swimming. Not quite. She looked rather frustrated but not in an angry bad way. She was rather a funny sight actually. She and the stallion had been playing, he had won though. As was clear giving her appearance. He had used his magic and made her wings freeze in midair when she flew out of reach of him and she happened to be above the stream, when she fell she landed with a splash in the water and was now completely drenched. She was sitting on the rock to dry off and wasn't at all too happy about it. She didn't notice the filly as she looked up at the stallion with an accusing expression. "You cheated. It's unfair and was uncalled for. Look what you did to me!" She motioned to her dripping self as as she said this. Her voice like a breeze gently blowing over flowers. She made her wings come up more and water dripped off the feathers. His expression was completely calm and his eyes sparkled slightly with a mischivious playfulness as he looked up at Spud. He laughed slightly at her accusing words and smiled as he said. "It's not my fault, you were cheating by flying. You deserved it." He snorted and saw the filly out of the corner of his eye. He turned his head towards her and smiled. "Glad to see that you finally woke up." He told her with another smile before he turned back to Spud who was already distracted by the filly's awakeness. He turned back to the filly as well and went towards her, staying out of the water. She was right on the spot that he had changed and made the rocks smoother on the bottom. He had known that she might choose that spot, he didn't know how but sometimes he just knew these things without even using any power at all. "Did you have a nice rest?" He asked her even though he already knew the answer. He had made sure that her rest would go undesturbed, had made sure that nothing would bother her. She had needed the rest.

The filly wiggled her way over towards Spud to blow gently her warm, clover breath at her in a loving way. It had been a strange sight to witness, Koha's wriggling and wiggling to get over the comfotably smooth rocks to reach ehr little friend. Her attention was seized by the stallion though and her soft orbs locked to his. Nodding enthusiasticaly she parted her kissers to answer him Yes. It was the best sleep I have had in a while. I was so tired she beamed at him before lowering her mug to the water to take a drink and blow some bubbles just to be silly . She wondered what the stallion would say to her today, wondered if he would want to talk about more training, or the puzzle or her powers. Or maybe today was a rest day, or maybe he had more important things to do. Whatever it was, Koha's large brown ears stayed focused on him, waiting for him to speak, as her gaze flicked between the bubbling stream and little, darling Spud

The chestnut mare walked through the trees, her head low and tired. Although she was only five she had gone through more than any horse ever should and she still had a long time left to go. As she moved in and out of the shade the sun illuminated her scars and made them stand out, there were many of them. Including one that ran along the whole side, it had been a deep and wide gash made by a cougar when she was younger and it was still very painful at times because it had not healed completely on the inside. She snorted and whinnied quietly for her yearling son to keep up. She was taking him home, to where they should be. She had taken him away for a while, it was better that way. It stopped him from asking too many questions about whom his father is, it was a secret that was well kept so far and would be well kept for a long time to come, as long as possible in fact. It was something that shouldn't be known by anyone, only she and the stallion knew who it was.
The yearling colt obeyed his mother and kept up with her as she moved through the trees. He kept getting distracted by the trees though, they were huge and reache dup high into the sky. Making the horses look really small compared to them. He snorted and cantered so that he was in front of his mother, he had a feeling he knew where they were going. They often went there although not for a long time before they left again to wander the rest of the land. He was lonely and hadn't been in the company of other young horses like himself at all yet, he had never really seen another foal or yearling and he desperately wanted to and needed to. He half reared and neighed loudly as they kept going.
The stallion heard the neigh and knew who was coming. He turned to the filly and walked over to her. "You will sooon have some better company, Koha." He told the filly as he neighed to the other two horses as well. He had missed them quite a bit and was happy that they were coming back, he knew that they were going to stay there this time and not leave again unless he told them to and they really had to. He snorted and trembled slightly, he looked like an excited two year old colt. He waited and hoped that the colt had learned not to ask anymore questions, it was the only reason that he had kept having to send them wondering around the rest of his land. The colt couldn't know who his father was, it would be a bad thing for everyone and something that the dark queen would enjoy immensely. She would most likely mock him without mercy.
She watched the stallion with a frown on her tiny faetures. She wondered what was happening, she hadn't met these other horses yet even though she knew who they were because of her connection with the stallion's mind. She knew everything that the stallion did even though it didn't seem that way but she hadn't met them yet because of only having been created while the filly was here. She knew that there was a friend coming for the filly that was around the same age and was excited for her, she wondered whether they would get along or whether they would become enemies because of being too different. She hoped that they would get along.

Iti Koha became instantly alert at teh call. A tremor ran through her bodice and she immedialy stood up. Looking around, she was slightly alarmed. Though when she saw the stallion happily awaiting those who called, she relaxed slightly. Still, nerves were at a high and she gently snuffed at Spud for comfort before pushing her soft nose underneath the little creature and lifted her up as she lifted her head. Balencing her dear friend carefully, Koha stepped from the water and stood behind the stallion. She was not afraid yet she felt secure with the large stallion between her and oncoming strangers. Crossing her eyes, she looked at Spud sitting upon her nose and anxiously awaited to see who was coming. The stallion turned and spoke to her and his words confused her slightly but she looked at him with bright orbs in acknowledgment to his words. The slight weight of Spud was comforting to the filly and she waited for the other horses that she knew were coming

Chestnut bodice appeared through the trees as the mare emerged from the thick forest of aged trees. She nickered to the stallion in greeting and trotted over to him, letting their noses touch before she turned her head to look at the filly and the strange creature that was behind him. She had never seen such a creature ever before in her life, it was quite an intrigueing creature but she was unsure of it, not knowing whether it was dangerous or not. She shifted her gaze onto her colt.
The young horse was behind his mother and stopped when she did, standing next to her he bowed his head in greeting to the stallion. He made no sound and ignored the filly and the little creature. His attention was fully on the stallion in front of him because he hadn't seen him for a long time and his size was quite overpowering and demanding of attention and respect.
He nuzzled the mare and nodded in greeting to the colt before turning his head to the filly and Spud. "Koha, this is Silver and her colt. Silver, this is Iti Koha." He didn't introduce Spud because he already knew that she would know who they were even though they wouldn't know who or what she was. They would learn about that later though.

Koha watched the two with curiosity yet she was also shy. Mixed in with that was also a protectivness for Spud. When the mare gazed their way, Koha shrunk back a little and would of blushed if she could. It was strange to see the stallion act in such joyous affection. Iti Koha had a flashback of her sire and dam, when they had come across each other. Her parents were good horses. These too were good horses, yet she felt shy around the newcomers. She knew the mare was summing up Spud and the filly slowly turned her tiara to her back to tip her nose down gently to allow Spud to slide onto her strong yet narrow back. When looking back to the others, she noticed the mare's gaze had moved on to her son that followed. He did not say anything, nor look Koha and Spuds way and for this the filly was glad. She was not all to fond of colts. The ones in her herd that had been older had been a bunch of stuck up bullys and often went around showing off. It was a colt thing, her mother had said. Iti oha just thought it was silly. Yet she would not be rude and would speak if spoken too. However, none of the strangers spoke to her, only the stallion. When she heard his voice, her tense muscles relaxed and a soft, pleasent smile lifted her velvets and she4 gazed up at him before nodding Greetings Silver and her colt. Tis a pleasure to meet you both the tones were as warm as the sand beneath her amber hooves yet they were soft and tender, not loud and bubbly like they were before. Her shyness was a great weakness. The flicka tossed her forlock from her pools before becoming distracted by the substance at her feet. Since she was one with the earth, she could feel and tell what was going on around and under it. And since she had dug her hooves into the sand she was even more alert. Focusin, she followed the vibrations to the source and found a mole digging some distance off under the soil. The usage of her powers calmed her neves down greatly and a soft smile lit her features. She stood, still most of her slight but growing form hidden behind the stallion, with her amber hooves dug into the sands and warm orbs glazed over with thoughts elsewhere. Following a friendly moles underground course was much easier and relaxing then meeting new horses, the flicka had decided

The mare smiled pleasantly at the filly. She aimed a soft kcik at her colt to remind him of his manners. He had no name yet but she would give him one soon, all that he was called so far was 'colt' but it did not seem to bother him too much. "It is nice to meet you too, Iti Koha." Her voice was soft and respectful, flowing through the air like quicksilver. She was not really one for words and on the occasions when she did speak it was because there was no other choice or because she did not lack any manners at all. She had been taught to show courtesy to anyone whether they were younger or older. She knew that the stallion wanted her to teach the young ones in his land to behave themselves and that they should always remember their manners. She was there to teach them all the things they should always remember to do while still remaining free from any influence from other beings and teaching them to show their individuality and not be ashamed of it. Each and every horse was different after all. Her colt seemed to lack manners no matter how much she taught him though.
He recieved his mother's well aimed kick on the haunches and it made him go forward. He snorted and put his ears back at his mother slightly before bowing low before the stallion for a moment before coming up and looking at him again with a slight smile on his face. "Hello your Lordness." His voice was slightly mocking as he spoke but it was playful as well, showing that he intended no harm with his young and immature nature. He then turned his attention to the filly and the strange creature that had disappeared, out of shyness most likely. He nodded his head slightly and a bit more pleasant friendliness came into his smile as well as a playful and mischievous twinkle in his eyes that were half hidden behind his pure black forelock. His black coat was shining too with youthful health. "And hello to you, Iti Koha." As soon as he had greeted both the horses he snorted and turned, heading towards the water to quench his thirst. They had traveled for a while now and he wanted some water to drink.
The stallion wasn't too pleased with the mocking tone in the colt's voice but he said nothing. He did not even snort but merely glanced at the mare in a slightly accusing way. She was there to teach the colt some manners after all and she of all horses knew how important it was that he learn these manners and to always use them. When the colt walked off he nuzzled the mare once more before he turned and walked a short distance off to stand on the edge of the cliff. You couldn't see that it was an edge unless you went up there, it just seemed like a normal hill that would go down into another field again. And illusion some might say, but it was merely nature as it had been created by it's creators. He looked out of the edge as if it was the end of things but it was merely only the beginning.

The flicka could hear them and she pulled herself from her pleasing distraction to listen to them. Her pretty, soft orbs took them in again. She could still feel Spud sitting upon her back, yet something inside her told her that the little creature had made herself invisible. A quick look back confirmed her thoughts. Looking back to the kindly mare, Koha blinked slowly. The colt had moved to the river, to where she had been not too long ago. She was still feeling nervous and shy but she was determinded to shake it so she forced apart her velvets once more and spoke her soft words, though this time they had a little more force and chirpiness Koha. You can call me Koha. Most others do she glanced to the stallion as she spoke. Then he moved away, and she felt horrible exposed, though she stood tall and proud, a leggy multi-coloured growing filly who would be a holder of proud beauty once she matured. For now, she was a young horse, with a newly discovered power who was shy in the face of new company

Silver stayed where she was, she looked over at the stallion and then at her colt. A sigh came from her, with all her teaching the colt still didn't remember his manners. She then looked at the filly and a smile appeared on her face again as she went to stand under some trees and rest.
The colt finished getting a drink from the river and turned his head around to look at all the other horses. He saw the filly being alone and turned. He trotted over to her with a prancing step and his head up high and his neck slightly arched. When he got near her he reared up a bit and snorted, a mischievous look in his eyes. "You seem a bit lonely, Koha." His voice was playful but it still had that slight mocking tone to it that it seemed to hold at all times. He stayed a small distance away from her, keeping his neck slightly arched and holding himself in a powerful stance. For his young age he was already well muscled and strong. It was almost strange but it seemed to suit him.
