The mare lay completely still as the wolf came near her, she could hear it and scent it but she couldn't see anything. Even when she opened her eyes she could see nothing but darkness. After a while she could also feel something probing at her mind but she was too exhausted to stop it from happening, she knew that it was the mare from before, the one that had almost broken her leg. She didn't care, why should she care. All the mare would achieve by doing this was to see the darkness that occupied the mare's mind. There was nothing else there, no fear, no wishes, no emotions. There was nothing in her mind but darkness, it was empty.
ooc: can't really help for the shortness, it's not like she can do anything at the moment. =]

HA! Shabri jumped onto that lack of resistance. She would cause pain like no other, she would have control. you are mine! her mental voice hissed within Death Dealer's cranium. Stepping from the shadows and vegetation, the queen watched the mare and the wolf. She spoke no words but just grinned manically. Morgal glanced at his Queen but continued his circling, getting closer and closer to the mare. Shabri on the other hand entered fully into the other mares brain. It was empty, plenty of space. So dark. Shabri's grin widened as she stepped closer. She searched each and every space within the blank mind. There was hidden pockets, Shabri could feel power behind them. The minx did not open them, but left them so she could fill the empty space provided for her

The semi-concious mare could feel another presence enter her mind and she didn't like it but she did nothing to stop it. When it started to fill her mind though she couldn't take it anymore. "NO!!!!!" She screamed within her mind and outwards as she forced herself to get up. Her legs trembled as she stood there glaring at the mare. She felt no fear for the wolf, if he wished to harm her then he could, her body didn't matter much to her but her mind did. She started building the strong walls around her mind again, pushing at the other mare's presence. She could see again and stole energy and strength from the mare while she occupied her mind. She was a smart horse, and had been known to turn the powers of others against themselves. Grin appeared on her maw as she could feel enough strength enter her to stop herself from trembling. Her injured leg trhobbed with pain but she kept weight on it. She didn't want enough strength to heal it or make it stop hurting, all she wanted was this mare out of her mind. "You're not doing yourself a favour going in there." She told the mare with a satisfied smirk. She had expected the mare to do it but had not expected the mare to have as much power as she did. It was much better for her, the mare might not even have noticed the strength being stolen from her but she would notice the barriers being forced up around the mare's mind and the way that she was forcing the other mare out. Death didn't like her mind being invaded, the pain was fine and she didn't care about that, she just didn't like the way that she wasn't alone anymore, the feeling that someone else was there with you.[/blockquote]

Shabri watched calmly as the other rose to her feet. Morgal growled fiercly and protectivly though his only actions were to loop in closer to the injured figure. He did not strike but kept a close eye on this mare. Though his instructions were not to protect his Queen, he was willing o do so at a moments notice of danger to the golden mare. Shabri on the other hand, kept focused on death and was as unworried as a newborn foal. She was not going to be pushed from success so easily. Maching Death Dealers grin with one equally as cruel and manical, Shabri pushed through the walls that were being built up and soon they closed, but with her within them. She could not be pushed now, not when she was so fully involved. I will decide that. Thank you anyways my dear Death Dealer her voice clear and mocking, with a tone that suggested its usage was for the foals and yearlings that Shabri came across. The mental voice within Death's head was much clearer and smoother. No tints and taints of petty feeling. Almost like a bell tolling in a chapel You do not like me being here. That is fine but I shall not leave. You will learn to respect and perhaps even enjoy my presence. You made a big mistake to letting yourself flop around and opening yourself like a book. Now I am in, you can never get me out. The door will always be open for me. I will teach you not to be so careless. For now though, we must learn to get along, o'stubborn pupil thevoice was sweet yet deadly. Yin and Yang. Shabri watched the other mare closly. Soon enough introductions and plans would be laid out for her new pupil to inspect. For now though, she let the words and new information sink in. She would not be happy about the puil thing, yet Shabri needed to start training herd members. This one could be a desposable one, and if she managed to survive missions then she would be used over and over again. For what use was a damaged parcel, unless it had other worth or was just entertainment.

Death Dealer shrugged her shoulders as the mare said that it was her choice. Death couldn't really care much about it, those pockets that the mare had left untouched would bring much harm to her is Death decided to let their contents run free within her mind. Even a powerful mare such as the one occupying her mind now would want to flee but she was trapped now, having let the walls close around Death's mind wiith her still inside. "Suit yourself." She said blankly and turned away from the mare, heading towards the water. She walked past the wolf whom was in striking range of her now and she sent a hard kick towards him, one that he would have to be very quick to dodge. Not likely. He wouldn't be killed, it was aimed for him side but he would be wounded. She took a nice drink of water but she didn't let her leg touch the liquid. It was still covered in blood, all dried out and it throbbed achingly, protesting against the weight being put on it by the careless mare. "You will not influence me much being in there you know. Nothing in there ever has." SHe spoke casually, as if just having a normal conversation with another horse. It was almost strange, just before she had strongly protested against the mare's presence and now she was conversing with her as if she had known her for a long time.

Morgal was still growling yet he was too slow to notice the swift kick delivered his way. Yet before it made contact with his form, a golden blur and Shabri was between the two. Since she was in the mares mind, she knew what she was thinking nad had known about the attack before hand. The kick hit her hind quarter yet it was as harmless as a fly sting. It would have hurt Death Dealer much more then it hurt Shabri. Morgal leaped away in surprise yet growled thanks to his lady. Vengence filled his orbs but he was kept at bay by the Grisken queen who had fallen into step beside the darker mare. Together they sood side by side, as casual as herdmates Now that wasnt very nice. Morgal is very valuble to me. Just like you will become hopefully. With a....uh...little more training a smirk and the large mare lowered her skull to the sweet water. You are a foolish one. I like that about you. Your stubborness and foolishness co-exist to make an interesting batch. Tell me, how is it you became like you are. Surly there must be some dark, tragic past that would delight me to watch she probed at the closed off corners, wondering which one held the answers she looked for. They were standing side by side, so very close that their hides sometimes brushed with each breath

As the mare started probing at the shut off corners in Death's mind there was almost the sound of large bolts sliding together and locking. She shut those corners even more tightly than she had before and there would be no way for the mare to get in unless she just about killed Death. "I don't need training and I do not care about a silly wolf. If he's valuable to you then that's your problem." She was still speaking casually but her voice was somewhat forceful. She wasn't going to be trained by this mare no matter how hard she tried. She was the way she was and that's that. If the mare wanted her to be any different then she would just have to live with the disappointment of the matter. Death didn't care about the mare standing so close to her and she didn't care that the mare had intercepted the kick that had been meant for the wolf. She didn't care that it hadn't hurt the mare either, it was meant for a wolf, not a horse. If she had meant it to hit the mare then she would have done it harder.

Lifting her skull Shabri looked to the other mare, her deep purple orbs locking onto the other. Not blinking not moving. Kissers parted and soft flowing vocals poured out Oh my child, has the worl been so cruel to you that you have no purpose. You care not if you live or die or what inhabits your mind. It must have been aweful, aweful things. I believe you do need training. You need to be trained how to live again, how to be a horse. Not a husk, an empty shell, a vassel for thoseto occupy whenever they wish. Look at me her tones were filled were pity and pity lighted her orbs. Every wave of emotion coming from the large, golden mare was pity. It was intoxicating, suffocating LOOK AT MEEEEEEEE!!! the mental voice echoed commandingly, it was still in a monotone yet waves of pity hit the empty space which Shabri was occupying in Death Dealers mind Every child of darkness is important to me and therefore my problem. Morgal is a wolf. He kills for his food. But it goes deeper then that. Morgal hunts to feel the blood seep from his prey, to feel the last twitch as it dies. He is of the darkness. You, are a lost foal. Your herd has long left you behind. You have forgotten how to be. You could be great. I could make you great. See, even if you did make your kick for a horse, and not a wolf, it would not have done you any good. I am an immortal upon this world. A leader of those wishing to be led along the path which i worship. You, you have no path. You can wander about, without a means without a purpose. I could kill you in an instant and end your meaningless. But there has got to be some part of you that wants to wake up. I can tell you now, I hunt for the feel of flesh beneath me, for the warmth of blood from my prey, to feel their last shuddering breaths. It shall not be pleasent for you her soft, level voice dissapeared from Death's mind, though her presence was still as strong as ever along with the strong feelings of pity. I do not stand so close to you as to annoy you dear child. I am not the world, I am not against you. Not yet anyways. You do not have to be so aggresive and defensive with me. Nor do you have to feel afraid still the pity. It was enough to suffocate someone. Even morgal could feel it and he wrinkiled his snout in disgust. Shabri kept her gaze fixed upon the other mare and for the time being, remained silent

Even though the words entered her harks and then her mind she didn't listen. She completely ignored everything that the mare was saying but the pity that came from the mare annoyed her. The word afraid too struck at her like a physical blow. Her head was thrown up in anger and she half reared before backing away from the mare, fury lighting her dark and empty eyes as she looked at the ground. "I am not afraid, Shabri and nor shall I ever be." Slightly smug smirk appeared on Death's features as she turned her eyes upon this mare that had now told her anything about whom she was but yet Death knew. She had the power to go undetected wherever she wished. She couldn't enter other's minds however. But this mare had made a pathway that Death could follow as well, and the mare would not even know. "I don't think your brother or your mother might be pleased with your actions against me." She knew that she might get a reaction now, it seemed that the relationship between this mare and her brother was rather strange and slightly unpleasant. It didn't seem like they like each other well. Death waited to see what this mare would do now, since her actions had been turned slightly against her.

A smug sort of smile sat upon the black kissers of the queen as she watched the well planned reaction she got from Death. A pleased sigh came from the golden mare as the pity and certain selected words irritated the other. Shabri had known that these things would get to Death so. Mental messages were sent to Morgal, yet they were on a path between her and the wolf so here would be no chance of interception. When Death spoke of her fear as non existant Shabri lowered her dish to the pool to take another sip, raising her skull to allow the cool liquid to slid leasurly down her throat. The next words spoken by the other were interesting indeed. Shabri smiled gently and shrugged Those softies never really approve of anything. They cant help you know though. You strayed into my kingdom and they have no voice here. Nor do I ever care for what they think or say. Surly you of all equines would understand that she took another sip. She knew Death was with her but she had her mind sealed off except for the path she wanted Death to go down. The more the other mare became involved in her mind, the stronger Shabri's hold was. So what if she had to reveal a few memories and feelings. They were nothing to her. Meanwhile Morgal launched his attack, fangs bared and aiming for the mares bad leg OCC: is she going to discover her freezing ability now??? and freeze Morgal???

The air turned suddenly cold and the breathe of the horses and the wolf, now frozen where he was in the air, could be seen as white clouds in the air in front of them. Death watched the wolf with an amused look in her eyes. She had not moved away from where she had been, she had not even flinched. There would have been no way for anyone to tell how long it had taken her to do this, it had not even taken a second. She did not even glance at the other mare as she walked over to Morgal. "Was that fun, little wolfy?" Her voice was taunting, she had a firm grasp on her mind and nothing that the other mare did would make her lose control of her power or her will and determination. She shut the mare's presence out completely even though the mare was still there. "You didn't expect that did you, little fuckwit." There was a hissing fury in her voice and her eyes now as she brought her muzzle right into his face. The white cloud of her breathe on his face that was frozen in place. She snorted right in his face then turned around and walked a few steps away from him before letting the iciness in the air disappear just as fast as it had appeared. And since the wolf had been suspended in the air he would fall to the ground with a thump. She swished her tail and stood, lowering her head to incestigate the ground.

A estatic grin formed upon Shabris maw. Tossing her skull in delight and truimph she let herself drift from the other mare's mind. Trotting over to Morgil she nosed his limp form upon the leaf littered ground. He was alive, but that was not what she was checking for. She spoke to him via their minds. Asking him questions and laughing like a mad demon. Soon she got what she wanted from the mind of the wolf and turned her back on her faithful servent, uninterested in him for now. The wolf lay, rocovering his breath and strength. Shabri on the other hand made her way back to the deep pool, trotting back and forth, her brain ticking away, a manical grin upon her features. Not a look was passed anywhere nor any sound made, not even from her graceful footfalls. Suddenly the queen sprung away, making for a black hole in the vegetation watch her her minds voice hissed to the wolf as she dissapeared and the plants closed in to engulf her.

Death didn't care that the other mare was leaving. She was probably asking the wolf to keep an eye on her. Which was quite hilarious really, it didn't seem like the wolf could do much to her if she decided to leave. She walked to where the mare had disappeared into the vegetation and walked through the line of trees. She would just wander around the forest for now. Her footfalls were silent. "Don't bother following me wolfy. I'll freeze your lungs, or maybe your heart, if you do." Her threat was given calmly and without emotion as she kept walking without a sound, like a predator stalking it's prey only more silent. She kept walking even though she had no idea where she was going, if the mare found her then she found her. It didn't matter. Her injured leg ached slightly with the walking but she ignored the pain that was only a slight throbbing, not that bad at all yet.

Calmly Shabri followed, nothing more then a ghost. Death Dealer would not notice her and she didnt at all. With a small smile she drooped her lids and connected with her forest. In obedience they responded. The trees here were close together and the scrubs between them thick and thorny. At their queens command they closed in even more. It was a dead end they created and Death Dealer had no where to go but back. Back is where Shabri was standing. Not in a threatening way. Just watching, and waiting for the other mare to turn around and discover her

The mare stopped at the dead end, her black tail swishing in annoyance. She turned around slowly and made no reaction when she saw the mare. She watched her with a perfectly calm expression. "So what now?" The mare seemed to enjoy playing these silly little games. Death snorted and rested her injured leg as she waited for a response.

This was not a silly game for Shabri. All seriousness was etched upon her beautiful features. Stepping forward till she was inches away from Death, she lowered her skull till it was even to the other mare's Where did you get your power from? Did you come across someone who gave it to you? How is it you use it so? Who trained you? her voice was eager yet suspicious. Had this mare come across her brother or her mother. Had they given her this power that was reserved for the royals. Everything was focused upon Death Dealer as she watched her intently, waiting for answers

The black mare did not back away from the other mare as she came so close to her. She watched her with an icy gaze that said she would not give way for anyone, she had no respect and nor would she even learn to have some. She could freeze this mare if she wanted to and she knew it. "I've had it since I was born, and I trained myself." She hissed at the mare, she had never known her mother nor has she ever known any other horses. They tend to fear her too much. She was a loner, always staying away from the company of others. It was her place in the world.

Shabri relaxed somewhat. Nodding, she raised her dish to its rightful regal and proud state. Interesting. And no, you cannot freeze me. I have already told you I am not a natural horse. Nor are you, that is true, but I still hold more power then you my dear Twitching her ashen mug, the vixen looked out into her forest. It was a horrible thing that turned you so twisted, i must say. But it has rewarded you much more then any life with your mother alive and you sane could ever had. Dont you wish for power? To make anyone you wish, suffer? there was nothing but the cool and calm tones left. No games nor tempting. Shabri was just curious. Most dark horses she had come across in her long life had longed for as much power as they could have, to release it upon those they looked down upon in disgust. This mare wasnt like them though. She did not fit in anywhere$.

She noted the mare's calmer expression and wondered why she had been so curious about her power but she did not ponder about this. "I don't wish for anything but you to get fucked at this moment." She said with a smirk. Why should she want power when she had no need for it. She snorted and stamped a back hoof in impatient annoyance at this mare's silly questions. She didn't care about these things, why should this mare?

Groaning at this mare and her stupidity, which death dealer thought in her own mind as cool attitude, Shabri shook her mind to rid it of the dribble Death seemed to spout forth more often then not dont you see, you could make a need for it tossing her skull and rolling her orbs Shabri backed away so she could pace once more, tinking everything over. Perhaps she could find a body to transfer this mares powers into. Death did not want them and certainly would not use them for anything but petty amusments upon wolves. Shabri wanted that power, wanted to use it for her gains. The only question was how. Fluid movements stopped and she stood as if nothing but a marble statue, not even blinking and barrel hardly moving with her breathing as she stared off into space
