The stallion moved a little closer to the colt though he still blocked the way and he lowered his massive head so that it was near the colt, ”I can do what I like, little foal” His tone was mocking as he turned the colt’s earlier words against him now before sending a hard bite his way again and then lifting his head and backing a step or two with a snort.

Like that, as quick as a flash the colt was up and headbutted the stag. Then he fell to the ground shaking his head trying to clear the dizziness that had over come him. He looked up at the stag. I'm not little! And besides, your mate wanted me! She even bit you. He spoke ratherly coyly.

The stallion laughed at the colt as he fell from the dizziness of trying to head butt him. ”Oh did she now. She seems to have walked away now, does that seem like she wants you, little foal? I don’t think she does.” He waited for the colt to react again. The way he reacted was quite funny really. ”And besides, I’m the one that you should impress, not her. What I say goes.” His words were again spoken very harshly as he snorted at the colt.

The colt suddenly smirked, he laughed. Maybe she's gone further than you think. And I don't have to impress anyone, least of all you! He stood and glared at the stag. He was fuming inside from the little foal thing but suddenly realised something. He wasn't that little, the fae had said it lightly, but the stag was saying it as if he didn't know. Wait, I'm not little? Are you blind or something? He snorted.

The stallion snorted, this colt would be little compared to his huge size no matter how big he is. ”Well it seems as if you think a lot of yourself, especially for someone so little.” Even though the colt had asked him whether he was blind the stallion didn’t care, the colt couldn’t prove anything. And what the stallion had said was true, he was little. He didn’t care about the fact that he didn’t know where the mare had gone either, he would be able to go and get her again later, when this foal was out of the way. The stallion snorted at the foal again in a challenging manner, as if daring him to test his size again the massive bulk of the stallion. Then they would see whether he was little or not.

Bring it on stallion! The colt spoke tossing his tail and maw, his frame was tiny compared to the stag, true, but his attitude was huge. He spun on his hocks and kicked out at the stag, then doubled back trying to get into the valley.

Mocking laugher erupted from the large stallion as the colt kicked out at him and then tried to get into the valley. He hadn’t even moved an inch and still stood in exactly the same place that he had been, completely blocking the whole path down into the valley. ”Is that all you’ve got, little one?” He asked as he slightly lowered his head as if he wanted to inspect the foal more closely to see if he had more muscle than what he had displayed so far.

The colt had muscle, but he had never faught before so he wasn't quite aware how to use it. He headbutted the stag with all his might, and this time didn't fall over with dizziness. A fae whickered down below in the valley, obviously Desire asking if they'd finished there little game yet.

The stallion laughed again before neighing down at the mare reassuringly. He stepped forwards, pushing the colt hard. He then stepped back again slightly and waited for what might happen. He decided that he might keep this colt, he was amusing and he might serve as something to keep the gelding busy and occupied later on so that he would not have to keep wanting to talk about things. Not that the stallion minded that much.

The colt blinked, the stag had left a slight gap in the trail and he dived for it, odd coloured bodice seemed to squeeze through the gap only just, and he was just waiting for the stallion to clamp his teeth on his back and drag him away again.

Before the colt had even got through the stallion had already turned around, knowing what the colt would do and he grabbed onto his made once more, pulling him off of the earth with a lot of force as he through up his head and then started the descent back down into the valley. He went at quite a bouncy trot as he moved and then slid and then moved again until they reached the bottom. He located the mare and went closer to her dropping the colt on the ground with a bit of a thud before speaking. ”Have him. He’s quite an amusing little foal.” The stallions tone was once more mocking as he pushed the colt towards the mare with his nose.

The colt flattened his auds. I am NOT little!!!! He practically screamed. The fae laughed, tossing her ebon banners as the colt stepped behind her and glared at the stag, she looked at her stag approvingly.

He couldn’t see the way that either of them were looking at him so he didn’t quite react but the way that the little foal had screamed was quite amusing. Obviously the little foal too had not learnt that words didn’t mean much when the stallion said them.
Ooc: do you think that the colt will want to stallion to approve of him later on and try to impress him or something? Cos that should be interesting.

Re: I was thinking that maybe he'd sort of turn to him like a father figure yeah, and try and get his approval. That would be kewl.
The fae nibbled her new colts mane and he finally relaxed, he had a mum again, and wondered off to find some grass. The fae snorted slightly, releasing a breath she'd kept in for so long. She looked at her stag. So, maybe there is a heart in there after all. She placed her maw on his shoulder.

Not likely. He snorted at the mare’s words for even though he had let the colt stay it did not mean that he cared about him or even would. The colt was too weak for his liking. He turned his face away from her as she touched his shoulder even though his face was emotionless. He wasn’t hiding anything, merely following the sounds of some tiny creatures scuttling to find a nice warm place to sleep for the night. The sun was starting to set now and darkness would soon set in.

She chuckled and went after her colt, leaving the stag to whatever it was he'd been doing.

He hadn’t been doing anything and so ended up standing there. It didn’t seem to bother him though as he turned and went back up the cliff. He would go and see if the other path had been filled up with snow yet or not. As he reached the top he went into a gallop along the edge, very closely too. No one would really think that there was even a chance of him being blind for surely it would be dangerous for even a horse that could see to run so closely to the edge of the cliff. He reared up momentarily to scream out at the heavens before taking off again and faster this time. Soft snow swirled around him as he ran and left a trail behind him to show his passing but then they settled again to cover where his footsteps had been so that no one would ever know that he had passed through there. He snorted and went faster, all earlier pain is his leg forgotten as he held his head lower and went even faster before slowing rapidly and turning to disappear suddenly into seemingly nothing but he had really gone through an entrance to the valley that only he knew off. A snort could be heard as he came out of some trees that stood by one of the cliff walls. He walked with his head high, his neck arched and his head held proudly. He snorted again and tossed his head before going into a trot and stopping near the river where it flowed swiftly.

The fae lifted her arbain dial to watch the stag momentarily, ebon banners swept back, dark fire orbs fixed on him before returning to the oddly coloured coltline who was plucking at the grass with sharp ivorys, a single aud turned towards the galloping stag. He caught every movement and for that he was proud though it didn't show. He tossed his dial and dropped to the earth, rolling once amoungst the icy frost before riseing to his feet, snorting and shaking his bod. His orbs returned to the fae. Name? He questioned. She looked at him, auds perked. Desire For Fire, Desire for short. He nodded.

The stallion heard the colt question the mare in a somewhat rude way but only a snort was given before he turned his back on them with a flick of his long tail. There was no proof that he had run, no sweat darkened his massive bodice, no panting breaths were taken. Everything about him was as if he had been standing there for a far longer time than he had.

The colt seemed to decide that he should respond in kind. I'm Rio Negro, Rio for short. He shrugged his blades as if he didn't really care. The fae tossed her ebon banners and wondered away from the colt as he resumed eating.
