The gray mare, Nyx, walked into the land. Her mane flew back as she walked. The breeze was helping her mane stay out of her eyes. She swished her tail and looked around. She had followed the fae here, but then she had lost here. She let out another call, it echoed here too, but not as good.

The bay filly cantered skittishly towards the new mare, it seemed as if there was something haunting her sweet face. She was on the smallish side even though she was just about a yearling, she would never really be a big horse. She snorted and tossed her head up high as she reared up slightly and then struck out at the ground before settling into a more calm trot towards the strange mare. Dainty dial was dipped slightly in greeting to the mare but gaze was stony and uncaring. No emotion could be seen either for she had none. The ghost mare that shared her body at times and inhabited her mind had changed her and was still changing her, from the inside out. The ghost mare had taken this young filly as a daughter and was making her the perfect one. The one that would soon be the only one to know things that others didn't know.

Nyx looked at the filly. Her head was titled and kept her eyes on her. Her dark mane moved around her face now that the breeze had died down. She stamped a hoof and it sank a little into the ground. She was near the stream that ran through the land and she thought that was why. She spoke to the filly, "I am Nyx. I'm looking for the lead mare." Her voice was calm and quite, but held an egde of anger in it.

Gleam of amusement played at the fillies features as strange optics were kept on her. At closer view she looked even more haunted than she does when she is further away, black parts seemed to almost be alive with movement but they were not. It was merely an illusion. "Oh, i do not think that you will find her here soon." It almost seemed as if the filly knew something that the other mare did not, and maybe she did. She knew where the other mare was because of the ghost mare, she would come soon but not yet. The filly waited for a reply to her words or a reaction tot he fact that the mare would just have to deal with a filly that was barely a year old.

"Okay." The fae could tell that something was different with the filly. She could almost feel it in the air while she was around her. She didn't feel it when she was in the mountians, but now she did. She shook her mane and looked around. She saw the stream and she felt her throat scream for it.

Amused smile was still fixed on the filly's haunted face as her gaze stayed on the mare and nothing about her moved, only the strange aliveness of the black parts of her smooth coat. She waited more, her eyes eager for a better reaction. Was 'okay' all the mare had to say, was she really willing to wait for the other mare to come? She didn't care, she would keep herself busy with this mare fo rthe time being for she had nothing else really to do other than this.

Leravix stayed in the darkness waiting until the feelings of the foal changed. For now though, she knew well that the foal wanted to play with their new herd member. So she stayed reporting to the ghost mare as she waited for her time to chime in on the conversation. She wondered now if the mare knew that the foal was beta and always would be. Yes she would have no one else but her daughter as beta. Though they looked nothing like relatives for they weren't. Though the foal was the only one the mare really trust besides herself.

The fae looked at the stream again before she said, "I'm getting a drink." She moved around the filly and she walked to the stream. She drank deeply and then she turned her head back to the filly. She shook her mane and tried to see the difference in the filly.

Though there was still a slightly amused expression on the filly's face as she lowered her head to scratch at one foredagger before snorting and turning away from the new mare. If Leravix wanted to come and talk to the mare now she could, this mare was not interesting enough for the filly to keep herself occupied.

The mare meet with the filly before she could get far off. "You have meet her then?" She stood looking on past the filly at the mare, she seemed so strong yet so damn weak! Though for now they could use all the people they could. "I know she is not much but she can aparently fight rather well. I have a notion to set her off as guard and see how well she fairs against a stallion. No doubt many will come for soon I will be in heat though no mate will I have." Then without awaiting the foals reply she slipped past her and came to the mare at the creek. In a calm straight voice she spoke. "You will sleep in the forests and soon enough you will be on patrol with me. We will see how well you can fight."

The filly walked with th emare, the huanted look now completely gone, leaving her looking rather peacefull and calm. You could call the filly a skitzo, she had not been born one but the ghost mare that had decided to share her body had made her one. Both of them lived in the same small shape of a fill ybut her mind was aging with th eknowledge that the ghost mare gave her.

The fae turned her head to the mare. She dipped her head in respect for the mare. She was strong, but she just didn't like talking to fillys, or anything younger than her. "Okay. What are we fighting?" She asked her. The mare turned her head like a confused dog, but she looked so powerful and beautiful when she did it.

Leravix could see that the mare was thinking about her daughter. She felt that she wanted to talk about and Leravix did even if the mare didn't. "I see that you have meet my daughter. We will fight stallions that try to some on my lands. For I do not want them coming near the beta or any others in the land." She knew the mare didn't know that her daughter in fact was the beta of the lands. She hoped that she would ask as she stood there. Thinking about how the patrol would go. For she would be in heat and no doubt many a stallion would come. She would fight them if all else failed.

The fae looked at the one standing near her. "That was your daughter? Very beautiful. Who is the beta anyway?" Nyx asked the mare.

A hint of the haunting that had been displayed on the young filly's features before showed but then disappeared as the filly turned away from the older mares. She kept listening though, wanting to know what they were saying to each other without having the responsibility of replying to them.
