Alavaren walked to the shore of the lake, which wasn't even really a lake at all. more of a really deep river.
She walked to a very shallow part of the lake and took a drink, she felt funny, then she began to move her feet, dancing. She keep doing this for a while. not really caring just kicking out her feet and moving them around in a very crazy fashion.

ooc: lol, this is gunna be funny.
Shodihi walked towards the waters of the peaceful lake, she wasn’t here to think or even do anything. She was just here because she could be. She noticed another horse which seemed to be doing something rather strange and she decided to take a closer look. She trotted towards the other mare with a frown, she seemed to be a strange one. Snort was given to get the other horse’s attention before words were spoken. ”Greetings fae. May I ask what it is that you are doing?” She stopped a few feet from the other horse and waited for a response, her muscles were tensed as if anticipating movement but she kept herself still.

Alavaren stopped pushing all her pillars down suddenly. Looking around and finding the other horse. A mare. She looked at her with a relaxed look just looking. then she gave a reply. "Hello, I was dancing its rather fun."
now she began to dance more gracefully as it would have been in dressage if she had known what it was. This was fun too and she picked it up with glee dancing and not caring what the other mare thought she could join or they could race she was just there to have fun.

The mare stayed where she was, watching the other mare with a slight look of pity on her mesmerising face for what would make a horse do what she was doing now. It was just not natural, some of it maybe but not all of it. She moved closer to the water to take a drink but she kept her eyes on the mare, almost as if she didn’t quite trust her.

Alavaren continued dancing along to the tune in her head. She knew by now that the other mare thought she was crazy but that was okay.
She just kept going waiting for the mare to speak, maybe then she could ask to race, yes that would be fun too.

Sho looked up at the mare again. ”What you’re doing is just no normal, fae. I’m sorry to be the one to tell you but it really is troubling.” Her voice her no emotion as she spoke but her face held a troubled frown. Either it was just her or there was something wrong with this mar.e

She paused again looking at the mare. "It may be strange to you but it is fun, just because it is different doesn't mean I can't do it. Now would you like to race?"
She just looked at her now waiting for her to answer.

A smile spread across the mares facades as the other mare asked for a race, that was normal. ”Sure” Before the words finished leaving her maw her muscles had already tensed up completely and with a buck she was off. Not going too fast yet, she wanted to test the mare before she would really race. The mare didn’t seem to have the speed of a purebred thoroughbred but she should be fast enough to make it interesting.

Alavaren saw the other mare break off in a run, in a second she had matched her. barely running. She wondered how fast she could run or if this mare was even really running but she kept going for now keeping up with the mare.

Sho kept running, increasing her speed slightly as the other mare ran next to her, she would keep doing this. She had plenty of stamina that she had developed from running endlessly across desert plains and other landscapes and she could run for a long time without even showing any sign of having run at all.

The mare beside her speed up a little. Alavaren didn't want to wait around for some mare to decide to run. So she quickly picked up a quick easy gallop quickly putting a good 20 yards between the two. Then she looked back as the mare became smaller and smaller and yelled back. "Slow poke!" she hopped that would make the mare really run but if it didn't she would just slow to the mares pace.

Sho picked up speed, waiting to give the mare a head start before she ran. She took in air as she ran, letting it come into her lungs without really panting or anything. She started catching up without really trying too hard but she went faster and faster with each stride, gaining on the mare and planning to go out ahead of her.

She listened to the mares footfalls. She was speeding up perfect. The mare wasn't all out yet, there was a few more speeds left as she speed up just a little so that she would stay ahead of the mare as she cam closer, gaining ground. She knew she probably couldn't win against this mare in distance but for a sprint? She would make her eat dust.

ooc: gunna try a different way or writing. Might change back later, hope you don’t mind.
This mare thought that she could beat me. That is quite an amusing thought, it’s true that my stamina is better than my speed but I can still put up one hell of a fight. I sped up even more with a snort, I could go a lot faster still and I aimed to turn this into a proper run and not just a short sprint, where was the fun in that. Let’s see how long this mare could run at this speed or a faster one before her lungs would start to ache and she would have to slow down before being able to get oxygen into her aching lungs. I can go for a long time before my lungs would even start to burn in the slightest. I kept gaining until I was alongside her, I half swung myself towards her rapidly. Aiming to push her and make her falter, years of playing around with colts had taught me to play dirty, how else could you win with ease. I snorted and went faster, hoping that I had pushed her hard enough before I had sped up again, almost going full out now but I could still get more speed if I pushed myself hard enough. I waited to see what would happen and whether she would be able to catch up. I could see the sun playing on the water next to be as I ran along the edge of the lake, the water stretched out for a long time before land could be seen at the other side. Maybe we could run all the way around it, that would make her suffer. I doubt that she would be able to keep it up for that long but I know that I can.

OOC- you can I don't like it personally cause you can't describe as much but your fine.
She felt this mare push on her but she held strong not even slipping a beat. She wanted to play dirty but Alavaren played fair. She would take what the mare threw at her even if she wasn't going to beat her in the long run she was planing her head this was fun.
Now she speed up running full out gaining ground faster than the gods them selves could. if she was going to win she would have to get as much ground on this mare as she could before she began to tire for when her lungs started to burn she would have to push the pain away. Though for now she just sped away from the mare.

ooc: I find it easier to describe things.
I sped up more, stretching my legs out in front of me as far as I could. I would not lose ground, it was out of the question. As I drew near her haunches I sent a hard bite her way, I would stay behind her but only until she started to tire. I couldn’t go too much faster than this. I made sure to move out of the way before she would be able to react though, I didn’t want to get kicked. I snorted and stayed where I was, only slightly behind her and staying there. If she sped up then I would have to do it too even though it would be hard but I wasn’t planning on losing. The sun was warm on my white hide as I ran, I could feel it’s intensity on me but the lightness of my colour softened it slightly. Sweat was running down my sides, almost leaving a tingling sensation as it passed my flanks. My harks were flattened against my skull as I could feel anger starting to make itself present inside my mind. It would help, it always seemed to make it easier to strive for a faster pace and to keep running longer at that fast pace. I know that the anger will grow until it takes a hold of me, then we’ll see how fairly I play. Many a fast horse had I beaten because of playing dirty, I had many tricks that I had learned to slow down a fast horse but I would wait.

She felt her bite but ignored the pain. Fine. if this dame wanted to play dirty than she was too. Based on how she had looked before she could tell that this mare was a desert horse and arabian. speed and induerence was on her side but Alavaren was trained other wise by her family.
In the old kingdom it had been a game to see who could run an obstical course the fastest. Alavaren won every time without fault. Now she looked around for a certain place and there is was. A large tree sat on the other side of the lake, that would be the finish line. The mare wouldn't be able to stop in time she was going to fast all Alavaren had to do was do a little act and this would be her race to win.
She called out to the mare as loud as she could. "That tree on the other side will be the finish!" she yelled. She kept running at this speed for about 50 yards before she slowed now matching the other mare on her side. She now pretended to huff and puff like she couldn't get air. The other mare wouldn't have been able to tell she was faking in a million years. never not even the gods would be able to tell no one would know ecsept for her, Alavaren. She knew the mare would continue her pride urging her on. That was all she needed as she began to slow her pace not watching her feet and letting them hit rocks as she pretended to stumble though she acctually was.

Could that be puffing coming from my opponent? I slightly pleased smirk played at my facades as I sped up a bit more, even if it was just to get out in front. But I would stay at this pace unless the mare sped up and made me go faster, she had set a rather long distance for herself to run. I hope she can make it. I almost laugh at my own innocent sarcasm but what fun is there in it all if she took away all reason to play dirty. Well, I would get my own reasons, just to be sure of winning. I snorted and moved up a bit more before moving in so that I was in front of her, I kicked out hard with my back legs without missing a step. I had taught myself well, my pace didn’t falter as I kept running, glimpsing over my shoulder so that I would be able to see her reaction. The turn was coming up but it was long and wide, not too hard. This mare was planning something, I could tell but I didn’t know what.

The mare kicked but Alavaren had already turned.
(1st person) Remember that spot I saw earlier? well it was stepping stone rocks running the span of the lake. They were spaced far apart so that they would have to be jumped you couldn't just run across them.
(3rd person)
Alavren quickly jumped the stones one after the other quickly reaching the other side of the lake. She turned quickly running full out, even faster than she had been running before.
She knew that the other mare would not be able to stop in time. not when she would be focusing of the turn they had come to. She was going to win easy. Even if the mare could manage to turn and jump the stones Alavaren was with in 25 yards of the tree now. It would take her only moments to get to it and win. Then she would wait for the mare to catch up.

The mare wasn’t behind me anymore, I turned my head to see where she had gone. Across the lake, what a cheat. That was not just playing dirty, that was downright cheating. I snorted by disapproval as I threw up my head and started to come to a sliding stop. Tossing my head when I finally stopped sliding I lifted my haunches from under me and went around the lake at a prancing trot. Fine, if she wanted to cheat then I wouldn’t give her the satisfaction of a challenge. I kept trotting, keeping the anger from showing in my eyes as I neared her and slowed to a walk. I would say nothing, not even acknowledge her. I ignored the sweat that covered me as I kept walking, not even caring to get into the clear water to rinse it all off. I didn’t even snort as I neared her and stopped, my neck was arched beautifully and my head held high. Clearly indicating that I thought myself to be better than her, after all she hadn’t really won. I hadn’t given up either, I had just decided not to do it anymore.
