A bay thoroughbred stallion came into the land. He had already claimed his home. He shook his mane and then walked into it. The sea mist splashed up on his body as he came near the water. The sound of the waves rang in his ears, a peaceful sound to him. He loved the moon, and the stars, but he didn't like the sun. He picked this land for the sun didn't shine there.

Wild neigh could be heard but the direction of its origin was not clear. Silence seemed to take place after the sound had gone, as if all sound was waiting to find out whom had neighed in such a way. The sound of hooves striking out at sand could be heard not too long after the neigh had gone but at first no form could be seen accompanying the sound. Slowly a figure of grey could be seen, with small brown flecks joining in with the wet sand covering her beautiful hide. Laughter came from her as she slid to a stop, letting bits of sand fly everywhere and a deep gash be left in the ground behind and underneath her. She didn’t see the form of anyone else as she turned her dial towards the expanding waters of the sea.

Mavrick came running out of his cave that he had been looking in and he saw the mare. He snorted and trotted over to her. "Greetings, I am Mavrick, the lead here. What is your calling?" His voice was nice and a bit loud so the filly cloud hear over the waves. The moon was shinning down on his bay hide, making it shine. The moon's rays were lighting up the water, making that part warm, but the dark water stayed very cold.

The mare appeared ghostly as she jumped slightly at the sound of his voice, she stood up properly out of her almost sitting position and nodded her head in greeting, remembering her manners. ”I am Huika and I am awfully sorry for intrudin” She lowered her head slightly to show that she truly was sorry, she had not know there was anyone else here and if she had she would not have come. She would have chosen a different place to busy herself in but she had been awfully bored with her sister.

"It's fine. I was wanting some company." His smile was bright in the moonlight and his bay coat shone in it. His thoroughbred legs looked out of place on the sand, they were make for a race track, but here he was on the beach.

The ghostly vixen smiled back at the stallion in her own friendly way. She was lucky that she hadn't been on the land of osmething in the Grisken kingdom or she might have been in serious trouble. "The moonlight is quite pretty from this direction, just as I had thought it might be." She mumbled almost to herself as she turned her head to look up at the moon. She loved the moon and the darkness, it was a part of her.

He watched her and then heard her words, but he didn't act apon them until the waves were getting too loud for his ears because of the silence between them. "I love the moon too. I could never see it at my old home." He kept his eyes on the shinning moon and the stars around it.

Suprise registered on her face, he hadn't been able to see the moon at his home. "That must've been terrible." She said almost too loudly as she turned back to him, her face showing some pity. She would not be able to live without the presence of the moon coming each night to shine above her and put her heart at ease.

The stallion looked at her. Anger and sadness was all over his face. "It was terrible. I was locked up in a stall, only the Moon's rays I could see, and they were on the ground where the humans walked." He shivvered and then looked to the moon once more, it calmed him down. He turned back to the mare and he said, "You can stay here if you would like. You don't have to be apart of the herd, but you can be my friend."

She looked at him with a pitying smile as he offered her a home. "It is a good offer and I would accept wholeheartedly if I was different than I am. But I am a traveler and I go where my sister goes." She said with a smile and then turned her attention back to the moon. She would stay for now though.

"Okay." He nodded his head and kept his gaze on the moon until the cold water touched his hooves. He snorted and took a step back. The tide was coming in.

As the water swept across her legs she stood still, bracing them only slightly so that the impact of the tiny wacve would not do them too much harm. When the wave went out she stepped forwards with it, so that the next one would hit her harder and higher up. She liked the way the waves pushed you one way but then pulled you back the other as if to say sorry for it pushing you in the first place.

The stallion watched the mare. The water was ice cold where there was no moon light. She was in the cold water and he didn't know how she could stand it. Every horse would jump back and run out, only to get back into the lit water.

A huge wave came, bigger than the last one had been and it crashed into her chest but she had braced her legs in time for it not to push her back. A moment after the impact the wave got pulled back into the larger mass off water, it gently swept past her legs. She knew that the next wave would be even better. She was laughing, a sound of joy but a strange one too. Was this filly actually insane? One couldn't know as she was a strange one but that didn't always mean that she had no sanity left.

Mavrick watched the fae. She was different, even strange. He shook his pelt and felt the mist of the sea hit him. He walked over to the place in the water where the moon warmed it. He went out to where the mare was, but stayed in the moon light. The white on his pelt shone, brighter than the rest of his body. His wet coat stuck to his muscles and made him look strong and big.

She stayed there, awaiting the next big wave. It seemed as if the sea was taking a small break, building up to a bigger wave as small waves lapped calmly and expectantly at the sand. She was trembling from cold and excitement both as she watched the water intently, only glancing to the stag once and noticing the moonlight on his coat but not really thinking much of it. She was not really in one of her flirty moods and she had no desire to play with this stag's mind and then just tell him that he could not have her. The wave that she had been waiting for came, it was bigger than the other one and went righ tover her head. She was soaking but she braced her legs and did not move at all as the water was pulled back into the sea. She laughed even more as she jogged out onto the sand before shaking herself. Her mane and tail hung limply with the amount of water that was in them, the shaking had not helped much to rid them of it. She looked towards where the stag had been, wanting to know how he had taken the wave.
