OOC- this is the right land right?
She had lost the stallion on the way into his lands but didn't mind cause she was having a blast.
She had gracefully jumped over an old castle wall and was now running around childishly jumping over things and running through small creeks. It was really fun even if she and the stallion didn't become mates she wouldn't mind sticking around here.
After a few minutes she went to take a drink and noticed the stallion standing there next to the water drinking. She now wondered if he had seen her playing around and turned her skull away, embarrassed.
Now she dipped her nose to the water taking a long drink. Her banner and forelock flowed down covering her face and dipping into the water at some points. This was a wonderful land. Now she stood there drinking waiting for the stallion to do something. |

As the stallion stood and took a long drink he didn’t notice the mare playing around but even if he had he would not have cared for he sometimes did the same himself. When she came to take a drink as well he lifted his head and smiled at her in a friendly way before turning and surveying his land. Some rabbits lived near the hill that was close to the tower that still stood there. They were out now, enjoying the sun and the refreshing breeze that played with the leaves of the trees and made soft rustling noises so that it would not be silent at any time there to create any negative feeling. He loved his land and hoped that she might enjoy it too for anyone was welcome there as long as they weren’t looking for trouble.

He had smiled at her and she walked up to him touching he neck and back with her nape. before she said "Thank you". She didn't really know what for but she loved this land and it was his so she felt inclined.
She looked about now, there were animals and trees, the castle and a hill. It seemed perfect to her. Nothing at all like what she had seen in the human world. She now stepped deep into the water, it brushed up at the bottom oh her barrel and she looked still thinking wondering. As the sun began to set over the hill her white mane and tail were set a glow. Now she just stood in the golden light and water. Waiting for him to do something. He had taken her from the ice but did he want her as a mate? she didn't know but he would have to make a move so she just stood there. |

Vyrtigo watched the mare as she entered the water, he knew that the usual reason for a stallion to ask a mare to join him in his lands was so that he could breed with her or take her as a mate but he didn’t care as much about those things. He wondered where the other mare was but he decided to leave her be for she would come out to meet the new mare when she felt the need to do so. He wasn’t really one for water or he might have started a splashing match so instead he stayed out of the water and lowered his head to graze. He sighed as he took the first mouthful, a slight frown on his handsome facades as he started to think. He wondered whether these mares would stay if he did not take them as his mate or whether they would care if he decided to love them both equally even though he knew that a time would come when he would meet a mare that would capture his full heart. He didn’t really know what to do but he knew that the mare was waiting for him to do something. When he spoke his voice was somewhat quiet but mostly questioning, ”Tell me, fae. Is it true love that you seek?” He wanted to know for he might not be her true love even though he knew that he would love her when he got to know her better.

She was surprised to hear his words. Neither of them were sure. but none the less she spoke with wisdom plagued words. "true love is what we all seek is it not?" She turned in the water facing him now. "So yes it is true love that I seek, though rather or not you fit in has yet to be seen, though there is possibility." she now got out of the water and stood on the grass grazing as the stallion did. She was peaceful here.
She knew that the stallion would meet other mares. That if rejected she would not be the only one to roam these lands though if need be she would have to serve as a brood to this stallion. She thought about it as she ate. Mating was different in the wild. Her parents had made her because of love but this was different. Some how it was and that was all she could comprehend at the moment so she waited for the stallion to do something. This talk would turn into what they both sought out but that was fine. |

He listened to the mare’s words and thought about them for a few moments before he spoke again. He had lifted his head up and was no longer grazing. ”Even though we all seek true love there is still love to be felt towards many others.” His tone was as it had been before and he hoped that she would understand what he meant for he had just confused himself by trying to put his feelings into words. For he thought that even though there would always be one that might be loved more than others there would still be the ability to love the others as well just as one might love them without having that true love. He sighed as his own words and thoughts stopped making sense to him even though he knew what he meant and he thought that the mare would probably be just as confused by them as he was.

OOC- Yes that makes much more sense!- She does a lot of waiting. She now looked up at him as she strode to the bank and near his side.
"Indeed what you speak is true..... but what is the purpose here." She looked him in the eyes now questioning him, asking if this would be worth her time or if she was just another mare in the herd. If she wasn't special she needn't stay near him and try, she could just wonder about his lands and live until she found another stallion.
yes that was a back up plan if she could not gain his heart. Her thoughts reflected off her face and in her words she wondered what would happen now but all she could do was wait. |

He watched her, his eyes were somewhat troubled as he thought and then finally spoke. ”Even though you seek true love and even though I do to it is still possible for each of us to love the other in our own special way.” He spoke softly, almost in a whisper. He knew that he would love her as soon as he got to know her but he was unsure of whether she would be that one mare to capture his heart. He knew that she wanted true love but he didn’t want her to leave if he was not the one. No mare in his herd would ever be just another mare for all of them would have a special place in his heart that was there just for them, and that one special piece of his heart that was kept for them would break if they were to leave him because they thought that they were not special enough.

She looked at him as he thought. Then she spoke as she looked out over the land. "Indeed a stallion would love every mare in his herd but one will stand above the rest."
She was faced now with spilling the beans. He would not speak like she wanted so she had to. "I do not wish to play around with a stallion that will save only a part of his heart for me. I see a possibility in this but the question is do you?"
She paused and looked away, this was not like her at all, her words mixed with anger, mystery, and love. She was being blunt and forcing him to speak. Something she rarely did but this was different. What happened here would change her life and it needed to be resolved soon. |

Her words cut him deep as she forced him to speak and answer her but he could not. He didn’t know what to say to her for her questions had suddenly filled his mind with too much thoughts for him to be able to make sense of. He let his head lower so that it almost touched the ground as a sad expression appeared on his facades and he just stood there, unable to answer her. He had never known a time when he had not been able to think of something to say for he really was a wise stallion that had a lot of opinions and was usually quick to think o fan answer but this was different. No matter how hard he thought he couldn’t think of anything to say, not even a simple ‘I don’t know’ would come from him. Only silence.

With that the mare scoffed at the stallion. He had failed her and she gave up. She turned away from the stallion and trotted slowly away, not leaving his lands but getting away from him at the same time.
It was night now and she was not as noticeable now. If the stallion wanted to find her now he would have to look. She was grazing behind a tree near the hill of the castle. |

Vyrtigo lifted his head as she started to trot away from him and for some reason his heart seemed to skip a beat. He didn’t want her to leave him. He turned and catered after her but she was already gone, he neighed for her to tell him where she was but he was pretty sure that he would get no answer. He didn’t think to look behind the hill near the tower where he usually stood and grazed and where she was now, he just kept going in between the trees to look for her.

The mare heard his call but did not answer instead she thought of what she would do if he found her. For now she just grazed silently in the moonlight.
If he did find her she wouldn't talk she wouldn't do anything until she was sure he was different. Yes that was what she would do unless something else happened. |

Finally all the hiding places that he knew of was exhausted and he went towards the towed to graze in his usual spot. His head was low and his eyes were shut as he walked over the familiar hill. A defeated look was on his saddened face as he walked, when he opened his eyes and saw her a look of happiness spread over his face and he wanted to rush over to her but he couldn’t. Something stopped him from doing it and instead he whispered, ”I’m sorry.” He wasn’t really sure what for, he had done nothing except be confused at her ambush of words. He stayed where he was on the hill, not walking down towards her for fear that it would be the wrong thing to do.

Cleo did exactly what she said she would do she did nothing. Hs just kept grazing though she soon grew thirsty.
She raised her head and walked up the hill and right past the stallion to get to the pond that they were at before. She wasn't really trying to but somehow she looked even more beautiful when she was like this. Once she reached the water she dipped her head and drank not paying any attention to the stallion at all. |

He watched her with a sigh, knowing that she was going to keep ignoring him. He walked over to her as she stood by the water and he touched her side briefly with his maw. It was a gentle apologetic touch. He was about to say something but decided that it would be better not to and with a shake of his head he turned and started to walk slowly away, his head low and his face filled with nothing but sadness.

She was very happy now that they were together. They would be the leads of this herd forever and come summer they would mate.

Gold walked back to the trees and went far into the and suddenly she fell down and started to push. She pushed but nothing happened. She whinned for help of someone.

Cleo rushed over the mare she was going to foal. She didn't know really what to do but she hopped that the stallion would be there soon to help. She just tried to calm the mare down. maybe that would help she was scared she didn't want the mare to die and leave her foal in the world.
