Dream felt the bit on her mane and turned around and ran after him. She let out a whinney of joy herself. She tried to catch him but he was to fast. She kept on chasing him though.
Gold watch as the foals played.
Moon watched too. When Cleo started to talk, she turned her head and listened to her. "He is fine. No he did not come with me but maybe next time. I was wondering if you guys would watch Medill for a while. I have a feling something is wrong at home." she said the last words in a worried tone.

Medill was getting tired though he fought not to show it. He didn't want to give into this filly's older strength.
Cleo smiled. "Sure I'd be glad to. Is something wrong?" She had a worried expretion of her face as she looked back to cheek on the foals.

Dream was catching up with him and nipped at his rump and said "You are it." She turned around and took off in the other direction. She was getting tired. too.
"Thank you. I don't know. I have a felling something is." Moon said and nodded bye. She took off in a gallop back home.
Gold turned to Cleo and said "If he is hungry, I will feed him. I love my sister, now." She walked over to a tree and layed down and watched the foals play.

Instead of running Medill simply whirled and tapped her with his maw. Then he started to trot over to where his mother had been and with a shocked look when he saw she wasn't there. He had a worried expression when he turned to Cleo. "Wheres mama?" It was bad timing too cause he was hungry after running.
Cleo didn't want to upset the foal anymore than he was so she made a little fib. "She went to go take a nap. Strong colt like you wore her out." She nudged him guiding him over to Gold. |

Gold was still laying under the tree. When Cleo and Medill walked over, "Lay down and take yourself a nap. You must be tired after all that running." she said in a loving voice.
Dream trotted over to her mother and layed down. She was very tired. She drifted off to sleep.

Medill lay down beside the mare. Nudging his maw under her belly so that he could nurse. He enjoyed the mare calling him strong and thought himself all the better.
Cleo laughed at the foals. "Yo guys tired yourselves out didn't you?" She lay on the other side of the foals. The two mares making a circle around the two tired foals. |

Gold stood up letting him nurse. "You almost like your mother." she said. She nuzzled him.
Dream was asleep. She was sleeping good.

Medill didn't get up but he just reached his head up and nursed.
Cleo laughed at the little foal. She hadn't meet Moon but he was a cute little colt indeed.

Moon laughed to. She stood there waiting for him to finish. She was kinda tired, too.

Medill finished and lay down in the tall grass. Soon he was asleep sprawled out between the two mares.

Gold layed down and said "When Moon comes back, please wake me." She layed her head over Dream's neck and slowly drifted off to sleep.
Dream kept on sleeping. She did not known she was this tired.

Now the palimino was the only one up so she had to stay awake. Watching over the lands to see if anything was amiss. At the moment nothing was she licked the face of the little colt. She wanted one so badly.
Medill grunted in his sleep but he didn't wake, he was much to tired. |

Dream kept on sleeping in the warm afternoon.

The mare looked about once again. She didn't see any signs of danger so she too closed her eyes and drifted off into a light sleep.

The mare opened her eyes to see Gold grazing so she now fell into a deep sleep knowing that someone else was there to watch over.

The mare and foal kept on sleeping. Though the young colt began to thrash in a nightmare. In his dream his father was dying. But it was just a dream, right?

The young colt kept thrashing in the grass. He yelled out in his nightmare. "Papa!" though he still slept thrashing about as he began to sweat. |
