Castle Meadow

Rolling green fields met you as you stepped through what seemed an old wall. And it was. This was where an ancient castle had once stood but it had broken down because of all the bad weather and the things that nature had thrown at it. Boulders lay strewn everywhere around some places but it only added to the beauty of the land itself. One tower stood still, only looking a bit weatherworn but now yet broken down. It had no roof but only a flat platform where humans would once have stood to gaze over this wonderful land. But there were no more humans here and hasn’t been for hundreds of years.
