The beautiful ivory mare trotted in her pelt glowing red in the sutting sun.She tossed her dial revealing the ebony lightning bolt on her head. She lifted her head and looked around for the stallion that had brought her here. She could tell she had beaten him here. She lowered her head and started to graze keeping her auds pricked for danger or the stallion. She looked around.Everything seemed quiet. She walked to a stream and started to drink. The water was cool and fresh and the setting sun warmed her back. This place seemed wonderful...perfect.

I make my way into my home lands slowly. I want to give the new mare enough time to look around and see everything before I am there to distract her. Maybe she would even meet the other horses there before I arrive, or maybe they would stay out of sight until they are sure that she is there because of a choice I had made. But for some reason I doubt that. If they weren't there meeting her yet then it would be for some other reason than because I am not there. My land doesn't hold much danger, there is barely anything there that can hurt you. There is also plenty of ways to get away from any danger that might be there at some point in time that is not yet defined. I am only holding my head at the level of a normal horse that owns no mares or land, I don't like to hold my head higher than any of the others'. It makes me think that I might be making them feel inferior, and that is something that I don't really want to do. Finally I have reached the wall that is an inside border to my land, the actual border stretched out far away from the wall but it is still the border to my home inside my home. It that makes sense. There are many ways that you can get past the wall, there are some places where it is low enough to jump, some places where there are missing pieces of stone and so it creates enough room for a horse to quite comfortably walk through it without too much hassle. A smile touches my features as I walk through the part that would have been a gate, had it still been there. I can see her now, near the stream. I am still walking slowly as I move towards her.
