ooc: yeah, or maybe a colt or something. And then the colt can end up being the heir even though he annoys Vtis a lot and makes him angry all the time.
The big stallion kept waiting, the sound seemed to be staying in the same place as if whatever it was was searching for something.

Suddenly on the ridge a small built colt appeared, his orbs looked down into the valley, falling on the mare and stag and he pulled a face, almost as if he was growling in disgust. The fae stepped forward. A colt. She spoke in melodic tones once more, looking up at the coltline as though she couldn't believe it. The colt shared her thoughts because he looked at her with an equally odd look.

The stallion snorted in disgust, he had sensed that it was another horse but when the mare beside him uttered the words anger went through him. He reared up and neighed loudly for the colt to go away before he came back down and stamped a hoof in annoyance that he should be here in the first place instead of elsewhere with its mother. He stepped away from the mare and half moved between her and the path that led down into his valley, not because he was threatened by the young colt but because he didn’t want the mare to even think about letting it come down and join them.

The colt turned his bodice to see them more easily and as he did so a show of stripes was evident. His broad back was brown, but showered with black stripes, his four legs rippling white and once more dusted with black stripes, and his face seemed to have them cared all over. The fae chuckled. He's so odd looking. Her orbs stayed fixed on the colt but she made no attempt to go to him. The colt however was making an attempt to get to her, trying to bypass the stallion by chooseing a different root down the side or the high walls. Pebbles scattered under his hooves and he whickered out, not in pain or annoyance, and it wasn't a begging neigh, no, more like a challenge, but a challenge from someone so small and odd would hardly be considered a challenge at all. The stallion turned as if to face the colt but instead of just standing there he started cantering towards him, his hooves striking out at the earth as he ran, hard. It was not a flowing canter but an angry one that was full of warning. He slowed down when he got nearer to the colt though, deciding that it wouldn’t even be worth the trouble to strike out at him. ”What’s your business here, foal.” His voice was icy and harsh, cutting through the air like the sharp blade of a sword as he stood with his muscles tense as if he was about to strike out at the colt.

The colt seemed to be a bit like Desire, in the fact he ignored the stag and kept walking. He jumped the last part and started towards the fae who tossed her maw high and took a step back as if she wouldn't even approach another horse her stag hadn't accepted. The colt seemed agrivated by that and bleated to her, ignoreing the stag still and taking more steps towards the fae.

Vtis stepped between the colt and the mare, acting more like a cow pony now than a stallion. He was stubborn and he would not let this colt pass him. He would move with the colt and stay in his way, it wouldn’t be that hard for the big stallion already took up a lot of room without even moving. He snorted at the colt to warn him that he would not be patient for long. Even though this colt was young Vtis had no time for weak foals.

The colt blinked, and without so much as a second thought, ducked beneath the stag. Desires laughter at that could be heard easily, and she shook her maw. Determined ain't he. She spoke taking a few more steps back, ebon tassles blown on the wind, orbs fixed on the stag and colt. The colt might not be strong, but he was smart, intellegent was the word most would use, foolish some others.

The stallion lifted one back leg as the colt ducked between him, he didn’t hesitate to kick out hard at the colt before backing up so that the colt would be in front of him, whether he had been hit or not. He sent a hard bite in his direction before half rearing in warning again, this colt was really testing his nerves. ”I asked you a question, foal.” His words were even more harsh than before and forceful too, it was clear that he wanted an answer now. Anger was writing clearly on the stallions facades as he seemed to be looking down on the small creature that seemed very small compared to him.

I do what I feel like! The colt spat at the stags feet, comforting his hind pillar where the stag had kicked him. His voice was sharp and tough as though he knew what he wanted and no fool stag was going to stop him from getting it. He stepped to go around the stag again. Desire watched carefully, she had flinched in pain where the stag had kicked the colt, her ebon tassels tossed about her orbs so her expression was unreadable.

The stallion moved into the colts way and used his teeth to grab onto the colt’s mane. He had not quite appreciated the remark that the colt had made. He picked him up, knowing that his weight would not be much and that his hold on his mane would stay for the colt would not have seen it coming and wouldn’t have been able to dodge him. He started walking while dragging the colt half off the ground by his mane back towards the path that led up the cliff wall and out of the valley. He half threw and half dropped him there. ”You will get away from here now.” The stallions command was clear and he stamped a hoof impatiently, the colt wouldn’t be able to get past him for he took up all the room on the path and they were already too high up for the colt to jump down. Just to make sure that he would listen to stallion sent a sharp bite in the colt’s direction.

Maybe you should give him a chance. Desire spoke, still calmly as though amused by the whole thing. The colt snorted in the stallions face as if to say Don't bother threatening me!! He had attitude, that much was for sure. His neck ached from where the stag had grabbed his mane, but he wouldn't let that show, not in a million years.

Vtis completely ignored the mare and dismissed her comment with a flick of his long tail as he seemed to be staring at the colt though he couldn’t exactly even see him. He snorted at the colt and pushed his with his large head. If he didn’t want to get up onto the cliff himself then the stallion would help him. He stamped another hoof in warning that if the colt didn’t get away himself then he would get some help and not of the good kind either.

The fae rolled her orbs. He's just a little colt what trouble could he cause? She spoke. The colt spat at her feet. I'm not little! And with that he colapsed, laying there, refusing to move. The mare snorted in laughter as if the colt was amuseing her. She walked a bit away and wasn't surprised to see the colt's orbs remained fixed on her although he made no motion to stand. His orbs were half closed, he wasn't afraid of this brute of a stallion, his auds danced about and he snorted.

The stallion snorted at the colt again before saying in the same harsh way as when he had spoken before, ”If you’re too weak to do it yourself I’ll help you.” Before the colt would have a chance to move he picked him up by the mane again and started walking up the path, making sure to drag him across the stony ground this time.

The colt bleated to the fae, not trying to fight the stag and this time the fae went galloping up the path, snorting at her stag. That's uncalled for! She spoke a slight waver of demand in her voice, ebon tassels dancing around her, her four socks illuminated against the earth. She had always had a soft spot for foals.

The stallion kicked out at the mare with one hind hoof as he kept walking up the path, dragging the foal along easily. He didn’t care whether this was uncalled for, why should he. He didn’t care about foals for they were weak and dependant and that wasn’t something that he liked very much. As he walked he accidentally stood on the colts tail but it was dragged clear again with the next step.

The colt began to struggle against the stag now realiseing the fae was on his side. The fae in question snapped her ivorys at the stag, she had managed to dodge his kick though she wasn't sure she could do it again.

Nothing would happen if the mare did bite him for it wouldn’t matter to him and he would not react in any way. He just kept walking, even though the colt was struggling he was barely any weight at all to the large stallion and it made no difference. When the stallion reached the top he half threw the colt onto the ground again and stood there blocking the path for the mare to come out of the valley and blocking the path for the colt to get in. He snorted at the colt again and waited for him to leave for he had no desire to have him in his home.

The colt looked at the ground for a few moments, his auds twitching about and he stood. Turned to face the stag and laid down, a small smirk covering his odd dial. You can't stand there forever, and I ain't going anywhere. The fae rolled her orbs and headed back into the valley mumbling something about Boys. In moments she had dissapeared back into the valley. The colt looked up at the stag, his coy smile never faultering.
