He dismissed her apology again with a small shake of his head. He decided to show her something else, he could do many things but he did not really do them much. He was one that could do just about anything if he wished, he could even do more than all his other siblings put together but they did not know this. A mysterious smile played at his features as he kept her attention on him with his gaze, he almost quivered with excitement but kept it in. He stayed completely calm and still as the small strange create appeared on the filly's back and then climbed onto her head. The creature had long and thin feathery wings, one purple and one black, It's body was a pure white and looked like a small human. It's feet and hands were that of a bear and coloured likewise, it's ears that of a rabbit's and the same colour as it's paws. It had long hair that was the colour of the grass that grew underneath where the two horses stood. It leaned over the filly's head to look at her face but it fell over her forlock and did a flip before coming back upright and staring into her eyes. The stallion kept his gaze on the filly and on the creature that he had created which was smiling hapily and excitedly at the filly.

The flicka watched the stallion intently, knowing he would do something special. She continued to stare as he stared at her. Suddenly she felt something on her back and turned her head to look, breaking the gaze between the two. She was surprised to find nothing there but there was something there. It was climbing her nape now to her tiara. She stressed slightly, backing up as the creature tumbled over her forlock and into her view. It was a strange thing to behold and she backed up further, trying to get away from it. It only took her a few steps to realise that it wouldnt work. Her movements had shaken the little creature though and as it tumbled she giggled. Twas only a small thing and not dangerous looking. It looked her in the eyes and she looked back before extending her mug out so it could rest on a level surface. She giggled again and looked over to the stallion, joy and amazement making her pools bright. How did you do that? Do you really have that much magic within you? Look how small it is. So colourful her gaze had switched back to the little creature as she giggled again at the tickling sensation of the little creature

The little creature disappeared completely, as if it hadn't been there to begin with. "I can do many things, young one but I do not abuse my power, just as you should not abuse yours." He said with a smile before starting to graze again. The little creature would be back, she would always be there anyway. It had been a gift to the filly, her little friend that would only appear when the stallion was not near so that it would be able to comfort her and give her courage when she needed it. The stallion liked the filly, she was interesting and curious but she had manners and she was polite. He liked her company, even her outbursts at times were quite amusing.

The creature dissapeared and Koha's face fell with dissapointment. Looking around, she knew she had gone. She felt dissapointed but somehow knew the little creature would come back at some time. She didnt know how she knew this, just felt it more. She caught his words It is bad to abuse power isnt it Sir? Bad things can happen if you dont use them properly, cant they? they were not really questions. She knew that this was the case, just making sure that is what he meant. She nearly passed his last words. As her tiara was lowered to the grass again when she froze. Dial shot up again Mine Sir? I do not have any powers. How can I? Mother and Father did not have any. I cant......can I? she wanted to believe she did but it was hard, for she thought she knew who she was. Magic would throw a slight spanner in the works

The stallion nodded at her first question and watched her as she lowered her head froze and then shot it back up again with a new question. "It is not who you were born from that makes the difference but why you were born." He stated simply. He would let her think about it a little bit more and see if she would ask any more questions before he would tell her, maybe his mother would have enough time to come and see her, to come and teach her more about her power to control earth.

The flicka's pools grew wide. She only half understood but nodded anyway to show her acceptance and beliefs in his words. Iti Koha lowered her dial to the emerald blades once more, nibbling with slight hunger. A small bluebird fluttered by her brown towers and she lifted her tiara to watch it Will I ever be as powerful as you? If I have powers as you say. she blinked calmly at him, awaiting what else he would tell her

He lifted his head and watched the bluebird as well for a moment, listening to her question. "No." He turned his head and looked at her with a smile. "Close your eyes." He told her. He would teach her how to use her power, he knew how. He could control the earth as well but not so well, she would be more powerful than him in that part for she only had the one power and he had just about all of them and the ability to learn new ones at will and not having to be gifted with them. He waited for her to close her eyes. The strange creature that had been there before appeared again, sitting on his back. Her name was Spud and she would appear many times for she was an actual creature and not just his magic at work, she could use invisibility and that was how she could disappear to go and rest.[/blockquote]

The flicka felt a pang of dissapointment but it soon dissapeared. When the stallion told her to close her eyes she complied happily. At the last moment though she caught sight of her little creature. Optics flew open and she focused upon the colourful thing. A smile curled upon her kissers as she looked upon her, Spud. Remembering the command the titan had giving her, she shook her tiara a little, ruffling her already messy tuff of mane. Slowly, her bright intellegent orbs were covered by her tri-coloured lids. She was completly trusting of her new friends. Her pools were shut and she stood, breathing in and breathing out. Waiting....

The stallion waited until he was completely sure that the filly had shut her eyes andwould not yet open them. Spud was watching the two horses intently as she waited to see what would happen. "Now think of a pillar of sand rising in front of you and turning itself into a ball at eyelevel." He told her and let his words sink in first before he continued. "You need to concentrate as hard as you can." He told her and waited. It might work an dit might not work, he wasn't sure whether the filly would be able to concentrate enough for it to work. It would take time before she could master her strength though and at the moment if it worked the sand would most likely fall back onto the earth as soon as she opened her eyes. She would lose concentration at the sight of what she had done.[/blockquote]

Brown harks flicked back and forth with his vocals. What he asked for seemed like a strange request yet she focused on completing it for him. Squeezing her lids tighter, Koha focused on sand. That was easy enough for there was sand beneath her. She could see it being tossed and tumbled in the wind. In her mind, she blew it in a certain direction, watching the grains scatter. At her feet, small amounts of sand shifted slightly. A motion too small to be noticed by a horse who wasnt paying attention of one without keen eyesight. The filly was oblivious and kept playing around with the sand in her mind. Now, a pillar. In her mind, a pile of sand grew and grew. In reality, the sand shifted gently around those small amber hooves. In her mind, the pile grew and she remained focus enough for a small pile to construct itself. Her mind tingled and she felt a slight draining sensation. It was not a bad one but she was concious of it. In her mind the pile grew to her height, though the one before her barely reached her knees. It occured to her suddenly that it looked like a pile of sand, not a pillar. hen her mind jumped to the question 'what does a pillar of sand look like?'. That was it, her concentration lost, the sand pile collapsed and spread over the ground before her. Eyes flickered open as the draining sensation ceased and Koha looked to the stallion, slight confusion in her orbs What does a pillar of sand look like? And why does it tickle when i think so hard about something like that? head was tilted to the side as she waited patiently for answers

He watched her as she concentrated and he watched the sand shift around her hooves. When she asked him the question he couldn't help but laugh, it was such a silly thing to break her concentration over but a good question none-the-less. "Ok. We'll try something different. Close your eyes again and just think of sand flying around you like snowflakes but from the ground up and then down again. The tickling feeling is good." He waited, this might be an easier task for her because it had less sand involved. He had not quite thought about it before but the more sand she needed to control to complete her task the harder it would be for her and that was not a good thing, not yet.[/blockquote]

She twitched her nose when he laughed, wondering what she had said. She didnt mind though. He had a pleasent laugh. A strange one, but still pleasing to her towers. Koha smiled and nodded as he suggested she try again but different Okay she chirped cheerfully before closing her pools once again and finding her pile of sand. It was there and built up quickly to its height once more, when she started concentrating. In the real world, the grains shifted at her flints once more. A breeze could have been rolling through them and nothing more, yet as the filly squeezed her orbs and concentrated more, the tickling feeling came back and the grains moved with a more determained air. They shifted this way and that, being blown by Iti Koha's mental wind. The small creature pictured her sand as grainy snowflakes. She liked snowflaked. In her mind, the sand organised itself into the shaped of snow and rose in the air before her to faill back down again before forming a snowflake shape once again. In her mind there was many sand flakes faliing up and down, forming and reforming, yet before her the sand just made organised clumps before rising to her knees and falling once more to splatter in the ground before rolling together once again to repeat the process

The stallion froze the sand without any movement or anything. Spud flew closer to them and whispered in the filly's ears. "Open your eyes." She told the filly as she hovered near her and looked at the sand. "Look what you did." Her voice was excited as she trembled with excitement as she waited for the filly to open her eyes. The stallion watched the filly as well, waiting to see her reaction when she realised what she had done. He would show her and it would make her feel more confident so that she would be able to do it better next time but it was tiring and she wouldn't be able to do too much at one time.

The rustle of wings distracted her a little and she heard Spud's voice. She knew it belonged to the colourful creature even though she had never spoken beforehand. At the command, the flicka slowly opened her eyes to come face to face with floating clumps of sand. Frozen in the air as they rose and decended. Blinking slowly the flicka lookied to Spud then to the stallion then back to the sand. Spuds excited trembles were contageous and soon Koha was having small fits of the trembles as her pools widened and she stretched her mug out to touch a clump of sand. It, being disturbed, fell apart in mid air before the seperate grains fell back upon the earth. Pulling back in horror, Koha glanced to the stallion before carefully walking round to examin her creations. Her very own creations. The filly was in awe. She could hardly believe that it had been her to make these things But....how? looking to the comforting image of Spud then the stallion. Her look was one of questioning as she waited for an explanation to make this all seem more believable

"You used magic! You really did!" Spud's excited little voice cut through the air, it was quite loud for such a small little creature but not quite unbelievable. She was still trembling excitemedly as she went up to Koha and embraced her neck in a big hug even though her arms couldn't even rach halfway around the foal's neck. She was laughing now, a musical sound of happiness and joy, it made you want to laugh too. The stallion watched, letting the sand fall now with a slight nod of his head, as if he was dismissing the force which held it frozen up in the air. He waited for more questions from the filly as he knew that there would probably be some. She seemed just as excited as Spud. "Calm down Spud. She'll use more magic yet." He told the creature, even though he was almost just as excited as she was. He was smiling as he started grazing again.[/blockquote]

As Spud attatched herself to Koha's boa the flicka joined in her laughter. Together their voices made a melodic sound. The foal lifted herself upon strong hind pillars and, tucking her maw in to rest over Spuds back gently so she was secure, and spun round in a little circle. A ring of sand rose up to follow them as if Koha had a long sweeping tail like the stallion and it was dragging at the sad. She was so excited Do i really have magic? How much? What can I do she sounded breathless and excited as she came back down on all fours and let go of Spud

The little creature screamed as the filly held her gently with her maw and went around in a circle but it was pleasant screaming and not of fear. She laughed when the filly stop and fell to the ground when she let go, dizzy. The stallion didn't look up at the filly when he answered. "YOu can do many things, young one, but you need to learn how to use your poewr successfully first." He kept grazing with a calm air about him, his eyes going purple again for a moment before returning to the deep brown.[/blockquote]

When Spud fell to the groud in a laughing heap, Koha joined her. Long legs were folded neatly beneath the wiry frame of the young fae as she lay down next to her friend, touching her gently with her velvet nose. Her movement and actions were filled with gentle love and affection. This young one had seen no horror in her life, had no misfortune but to lose her family. She was still full of love and kindness yet she stayed out of the affairs of the older. She did not call herself a dark, with the temper and fiercness to main and kill, yet she did not concider herself a pure and light horse, one full of love and happyness which was preached about daily as they feuded with the darks. True, she was young but she understood the ways of each alliance and had made her choice at an early stage. She understood that she had been bestowed with a gift and she should not take advantage of it or misuse it. It was there for when it was needed. Perhaps a little fun too, Iti Koha thought as she twitched her soft horsey whiskers over the colourful body of Spud. Ever since the seperation from her family, Iti Koha had been a bit of a loner. It was not her choice, but force of others. Too old to be taken in by a nurse horse and too strange with her colourings and nature to be taken in by some others. It was good to have company. To have friends. The filly wanted nothing more then to please the strange stallion and her colourful created friend. She would listen and learn like all god foals do.Looking to the stallion again the flicka nodded her head in a mature way I understand Sir. It wont......it wont be dangerous will it? I dont want to cause an accident and hurt someone or myself. I do want to control it. I dont want others to think im not normal. Because I am. My mother and father were good horses and they wanted me to be a good horse too noticing the change of his pools she fell into silence, realising her babble might be interupting his thoughts. Flopping back so she was laying on her side, Koha felt the sand beneath her. It tingled against her skin, as if sensing her new found power. Knowing that she had the power to be at one with every grain of sand around her. Experimenting a little, Koha tried to shift a few grains by jut thinking about it. She tried staring at them intently then squeezing her orbs shut. All her efforts achieved were some grains rolling over like lazy dogs waiting for a scratch. She was dissapointed and feeling a little worn out. Also, ontop of everything, was a warm fuzzy feeling. An excited buzz. She had magic within her. She was special, she had powers. Even if they were not great, she still had them. They were hers, hers to nurture and look after, train and control. Happiness swept her bodice and her lids closed to halfway over her amber windows as she thought everything over. Thoughts wandered momentairily to her family. Sure, she missed them but not one tear had been shed after that eventful day. Life was easy enough. She had been getting to that age anyways. Nearly a yearling. Her family was not missed too much, and at the moment she was so very happy

Spud started hickuping, bouncing everytime and in the process moving inch by inch. It was quite a comical site, her face was filled with both amusement but with a frown. She was trying to laugh but she couldn't laugh. The stallion looked up at the little creature and laughed, it was a pleasant laugh as he nodded his head and she stopped hickuping. She shook her head and stood up with a sneeze before watching the filly with sparkling eyes as she yawned. It was getting darker and darker up in the sky and the moon had already appeared to share that horizon with the sun.

Her questions left unanswered the filly sighed and let her lids droop further across her optics. Smile graced her kissers as she heard and half saw Spuds problem with the hiccups. It was getting darker, yes. Koha noticed this and saw in the distance the moon taking her place and the sun retreating from his. She liked the moon but sometimes the night scared her. Flicking her small and still fluffy tail, the flicka lifted her tiara to watch Spud with equally bright pools. Like amber gemstones, set upon the sweet and innocent face. She was a picture of what a foal was spose to be. Not evil, nor heavenly, not orientated with sides. Just uncaring and smal compared to the world. Shifting round so she could extend one slender forleg, Koha scratched her nose against her knee. It had been a draining experience, using her magic, but her energy had been quick to come back
