Through the earth she could sense his movement and it was enough to wake her from her dozing. Sitting up, she watched him walk off in silence. Raising herself to her stilts, Koha shook herself free of sand and grit before she started to follow the colt through the trees. She too ignored the stallion and mare, though her thoughts did wander to Spud and what the little creature would do. Looking back to the rock where she was, Koha paused for a moment, before continuing on. She was some way behind the colt and was in no rush to catch up. She just followed silently behind, enjoying the spring day

Muscular legs moved faster, going into a canter the colt went on. A tree came up to him and his side scraped against the rough bark violently, leaving a fair bit of blood on it. He tossed his head, sending his long mane flying and gave a buck, kicking out as if what had hurt him was a living creature that would attack him again. The only thisng he achieved was to unbalance him as he shook his head as well and then went on. He snorted and pressed on, into the thickness of the forest. Blood was streaming down ihs side as he ran, he almost hit a tree but this time it only got his shoulder, leaving another deep gash because of there being a sharp stick that had been broken exactly where he had hit it but he kept going.

Trotting on, Koha's brown soaked towers picked up what she thought to be the noise of a cantering horse. Had the colt picked up speed? She was unsure and kept trotting on. It was only when the flicka came across the blood smeared tree that worry touched her heart. She too was cantering now, though in a less violent manner. Making sure to watch out for the ever closing in trees and brambles, Koha continued on. Though not al the time was she able to outwit the forest. Her old foe's, the thorny vines, managed to ensnare her lovely slender legs time and time again. It took time to free herself and the more time it took the harder and faster her heart beat. There was a trail of blood, and even though it led the filly to the colt, she rathered it was not there. Kicking it up a notch with the speed, Koha continued on, though fear and desperation made her eyes blur and her step become more clumsy. Her knocks were not as powerful or dangerous as the colts but they were enough to bruise her slim frame. Suddenly, tired and sore, she stopped. Grinding her teeth in anger, she focused inwards. The ground rumbled and suddenly the ground seemed to be splitting. It was not, but a path had been made through the trees and any tree in the way had been pushed up to the side and held at bay by a wall of earth. The walls came only to the flicka's knees but it was enough to clear a path. So she continued on, faster now and pushing her earthy path further and further infront of her so she would not be hindered by any trees or vegetation

He kept going, faster and faster. Bushes with long hard thorns caught on his legs and ripped at the flesh. Leaving long and deep cuts as he kept going. He snorted and his nares flared as the pain of it all added together made his whole body throb with the heat that came with infection and fever. He kept getting the trees, making them scrape along his sides and graze the skin so much that it would bleed. He had blood streaming off just about every part of him now, it almost seemed like he should be dead, with the amount of blood that he was losing. The more he ran the more the blood flowed and the more freely it did so. A scream echoed through the forest as he reared, the sand underneath his back hooves slipped and he fell over onto his back. The leaves that was on the forest floor cushioned his fall somewhat but the impact of his weight made the earth around him tremble slightly. His nares flared as he kicked out his hooves to try and right himself. When he finally got it right he jumped up and was off again but it would have taken a moment or two.

Suddering at the scream and as her earth screamed beneath her Koha went faster. So much blood was about her, on the trees, on the ground. It was disturbing. Surly the stallion knew that the colt was in trouble. Faster she went, although it hurt her legs greatly. She saw him, saw him rise and continue on. Maw opened and a despereate, pleading sob of a neigh left her. It nearly choked her to neigh and breath at the same time all the while urging herself to go faster. Again she called, though this time the call was more faltering. She begged him to stop, to calm down. She was tiring and fast. Such a sliht creature and not as old and the muscular colt. But he was losing blood and running faster. Surly he would be tiring? Even if that wasnt so, as long as he ran, she would too. Even if it killed her

He went faster, his ears too were full of blood and he could barely hear the neigh that the filly gave. He didn't realise that she was behind him. He kept running, hitting trees and getting the skin torn off his legs by the thorns on the bushes that he ran through. Another pained scream escaped him and tears muddled in with the blood undearneath his eyes on his bloodied face. You wouldn't think that he was the same colt as he had been not so long ago. He seemed like he was not in control of himself, yet he was, in a matter of speaking.

occ: =/ im afraid Vil. You may call your mind smart but i call it devious...and i am scared...lol Sobbing neigh after sobbing neigh was given from the exhausted filly as she struggled to keep him in sight. Desperation as his pain filled scream blocked her harks. She was too tired to go on yet she was not going to give up. This would kill them both. In utter desperation she closed off her mind and focused best she could untill she had the earth around them in her power. It took alot but she pulled it off. The earth trembled and growled and started to shake. The earth infront of the running colt opened up into a deep, round pitt to swallow him and the tired filly. There was no way out unless you were an earth bender. The filly knew he was but he would not be able to tap into his powers and use them effectivly. She lay, trembling in a heap on the floor of the pit she had created. She loked at the colt with pleading in her orbs, hoping that he was alive and had snapped out of it and was back to himself so they could get help or go back to the stallion and mare

ooc// How long's it gunna take for her to pass out.... lol And lots of people are scared of my powerful mind. Everyone seems to call me evil. hehe.
As the earth opened in front of him he leapt but landed short. His front hooves touched the top of the other side and his back hooves tried to push him upwards in desperation. It worked and he was up out of the hole and running again. He would not stop for a while still. He kept going, still without the knowledge that the filly was coming after him. She would not be able to keep up with him, he would not stop unless something great made him or he was done.

OCC-she will pass out now Koha groaned in desperation as the colt did not join her. Black spots danced infront of her eyes and she could not hold onto her conciousness any longer. She tried to stand but faltered and fell with a painful thud. In one last effort she raised the pit to normal ground level yet with that last bit of energy she blacked out completly and layed in a sprayled heap, covered in bruises and scratched and both hers and the colts blood

ooc// thank you! lol
Finally the colt came to a stop. He turned around and headed in the other direction, slower this time and without hitting anything. He stopped near the filly even though he didn't know that she was there. He shut his eyes and seemed to doze off. A few minutes later his eyes opened, they were a strange dark blue, like a stormy sky almost. His neck was arched and he stood up perfectly straight, there was not a scratch on him and no blood at all. Everything that his senses would have picked up all through the time tha the had run now came to him in a sudden rush. He could suddenly hear the sound of hooves behind him and the sobbing, pleading neighs of the filly. Surprise registered on his features for a moment before he looked around him and finally saw the filly. He walked over to her, dropping his muzzle to her face. He pushed it slightly and gently but she seemed to not be awake. He blew out gently onto her face then saw all the injuries and blood that was on her. He shook his handsome head and whinnied quietly to her so that she might wake up. Why had she followed him? This wasn't a good thing. He looked around him quickly to see whether anyone else had followed too but he saw no one. He nuzzled her shoulder to try and get her to wake up. He would need to get her cleaned up before his mother and the stallion came looking for them. He would be in a lot of trouble if they see her in this state, especially with him.

The filly went from her unconciousness into a peaceful doziness. She felt the nudgings of the colt and lifted her lids. Yawning suddenly she registered the colt. Sudden sharp intake of breath was taken and she shifted the earth beneath her to take her a few meters away from him so she could stand up and look at him. Suspicion crawled over her features. After her small bout of unconciousness, Koha had healed herself through the earth and sleep. There had only been small cuts and slight bruising and most of the blood was his. It was the exhaustion from running that was still with her. She looked at him long and hard What happened to all the blood? she asked slowly. The earth around her shifted with her unsurness as she waited for his reply

He stepped towards her, a reassuring look in his eyes. Where had all the blood gone? It was actually a really good question. It was something he didn't quite know, did it go back into his body or just dissappear? There was still blood on the ground around them and most likely on all the trees that he had so violently run into. He watched her, he could see that she was unsure. "It's gone." He supposed that he would have to explain to her what had happened now. This was the trouble when someone followed him and saw these things happen. Luckily she had been unconcious before or she would have been even more scared and unsure of him. He snorted. He didn't know himself completely why this happened but it was one of those things that did. What he didn't know was that it was all the power that he had that went unused, it built up inside of him until it needed to be realeased desperately. That's when this happened, when he lost control and ran himself just about to death then healed himself and was then back in control again. He didn't know how he healed himself, it happened while he was still not in control. He watched her, waiting for her to calm down and be less unsure of him. He didn't know how to explain all this. "Why did you follow me?" He hadn't guessed that she would care enough to want to follow him, not this far at least. She had run after him until she had passed out. It made him feel slightly guilty, he hadn't meant for her to care enough to follow him. Her sobbing, pleading neighs came to his mind again and his guilt increased. He didn't understand how he could not have heard them even though his ears had been filled with blood. She had cared enough to plead him to stop so that he would not kill himself even though he could not and would not. Shit. Why'd she have to do it. He didn't like the fact that she had hurt herself for him, when he was just standing here now, perfectly fine. There was nothing wrong with him though she might not think so now. If he's known that she might follow or care this much then he would have been more careful and gone further away before starting to run, though that part was not completely under his control anymore. What would she think of him now that she had seen all this? Would she ever trust him?

Watching him carefully, she allowed him to come closer, though the ground around them rumbled slightly, in a protective sort of way How do I know its you then. You could be a monster, a demon, a ghost or spirit she suddenly realised how silly she sounded and she hung her head, head rising to her cheeks. Shaking her dish she looked up and stared intently upon him once more. The ground had stopped its rumbling and there was silence between them. When he asked why she had followed, she shrugged and waited a long while, thinking of her answer When you first came here, you told me I looked lonely. I think though, that you are a little bit lonely. I dunno, I was just curious and then I got worried. I......I dont know why I cared so much that you would get hurt. I spose.....well no one should be alone...and you are hurt....well were. I doesnt matter. I am sorry and I will remember next time to keep my nose where it belongs. Father always told me I stuck it too many placed she grimiced at her babbling and at the mention of her sire. Lowering her gaze again so she did not have to look at the fully formed and healed colt, she caught sight of her grazed and dirty stilts. She felt no pain for there was none. The earth had healed her, for it was her family and friend. She suddenly remembered her path and turned her head behind her to where a large slash was seen through the forest. Blowing out softly, she closed her eyes and allowed the earth to fall back into place and letting the trees go back to their rightful spots. Turning her dainty dish back in the direction to the colt, she did not make eye contact but mumbled another apology I'm sorry she said quietly, digging her amber hooves into the friendly soil

For some reason he could feel every emotion that was going through her. He went even closer to her, his stormy blue eyes watching her closely to make sure he wouldn't cause her any more discomfort. He ignored her apologies. "Don't be sorry. I should have been more careful." He seemed quite different from the colt that he had been when he had first met her and spoken to her and he probably was different. He started changing as soon as the power inside of him starting to get too much. He blew out his nose softly and reached out his maw to touch hers in a reassuring way. He couldn't heal her as he had healed himself, he didn't know how. If she allowed him to comfort her then he would step closer and let his head rest on the top on her nape. Kind of the horse equevalent of a human hug. There was no hostility in his manner at all and nothing about him would give her any reason to fear him but if she did not allow him to comfort her then he would back off. After all, what had happened to him was quite weird and it would give any horse a reason to fear him. They couldn't be sure that he would do to them or someone else. He took a deep breath and shut his eyes for a moment, her pleading screams returning to his ears in a haunting sort of way. "Why were you so worried? What should make you want to care though?" He wasn't used to being cared about the way she was caring. His mother cared but she was fearful of him, as if she knew something that he didn't. She had some secret that she wasn't sharing with him and it was something that made her afraid of him. That was why he probably had no respect for her. And as for the stallion, well there could be no respect for a horse like him. Well, not from the colt anyway. Something about the stallion bothered him, it was as if there had been a strong hatred placed in him for the stallion and it was slowly growing and making itself known to the colt. He fored the thought away and turned his attention back to the filly.

Koha breathed out and relaxed herself and when he reached out to touch her nose she reached out as well. In a way of saying all was well. When he delivered her his horsey hug, she returned it. It was strange. When they touched, so close together, she could feel the energy pulsating from him. Feel the emotions emitting from him. It was strange. She felt the anger and sadness and as his question came through she responded passionatly, wanting to make him feel like she cared and he was important Everyone deserve to be cared about. Besides, you are the closest thing, apart from Spud, that I have had to a friend for a long time. I was just worried coz I was she shrugged her slender shoulders and released a shy smile as she nudged him with her velvet nose

He nuzzled her neck then stepped back. Sadness filled him when she said that he was the closest thing she had to a friend in a long time. It was strange but she was the first friend he had had. He hadn't been around much other horses so there had been no chance for him to really make friends. It was quite sad reall ybut iwas the way that life was and it just had to be accepted. He snorted softly. "You'll have to get cleaned up before we go back, they'll be wondering what happened to you." His voice was calm and quiet but with no real emotion in it. He felt responsible for what had happened to her. He didn't want to get punished for it though, if he had had the choice he would rather this not had happened. "They don't know.........they don't know about this happening to me." He spoke hesitantly, as if he wasn't sure whether he should share this with her or not. But she needed to know that she could not tell the stallion or the mare about this. Though he suspected his mother might know. He doubted it though, but if they knew then he didn't know what would happen to him.

Koha watched him curiously and as the sadness filled his features she felt a pang of sadness nad pity deep within her. Nodding at him she parted her kissers to speak softly, her calm words holding a life long promise I wont breath a word. I will hide it deep within my mind so that even the stallion cannot find it. They will not know. she turned from him and wandered some way into the forest and found a pile of mud. Concentrating hard, for this was just like a puzzle set by the stallion, Koha managed to lift the pile of mud from the ground leaving nothing but a dry spot. She balenced it over herself, spreading it in the air above her so it shadowed her body. Then, she seperated the dirt from the water. Since she controlled only earth and not water, once seperated from the dirt it was out of control and fell to the force of gravity to soak her and cleanse her bodice and wash away the dirt and blood. She replaced the dirt and walked back to the colt, her coat all gleaming and wet, most importantly clean. She turned in a graceful circle before the colt Better??

He was starting to like the filly more and more now. He nodded his approval when she asked him if it was better. He had watched her control the dirt and how she had been creative in thinking of a way to clean herself even though there was no water nearby. A slight smile was on his features as he watched her, he looked slightly distracted though. He didn't really like the way that they treated him, he knew he had powers but none of them were willing to teach him how to use them. Thay were trappen inside of him. He had already taught himself several things but not too much and nothing too great. A slight breeze started to blow lightly over them, drying the filly and playing with their manes and tails. It was his doing but she wouldn't know that. The wind and the air was something he had mastered, well almost. He could not yet create things like a tornado or anything serious like that but he could create strong wind or light breezes and control their speed to suit him. He kept watching the filly. His eyes alomst looked like they had clouds floating in them and past them yet there was no clouds in the sky so it could not be a reflection.

Koha looked back. She rather liked his changing eyes. Alot like the stallions. She felt the breeze and relised in its warmth and the fact it dried her. You have powers. Why dont you get the stallion the teach you how to use them. He did with me. she looked over her shoulder at the way they had come. They should proberly get back soon

The colt just kept standing where he was. "He won't." His voice had a slight warning in it, making it clear that it was something he didn't want to discuss. He was staring at nothing now, just standing there and staring. He didn't want to go back there to them, there was no point in doing it. If the filly wanted to go back then she could but he was going to stay here.
