Koha tilted her pretty dish at him your not going back? she asked curiosly. She did not know why, but she felt that if he did not go back, neither would she. She would stay and keep him company for as long as he wished

He shook his head slightly. You could almost not even tell whether it was meant to be no or not. A frown was creasing his forehead as he turned to look at her again but the frown disappeared and he smiled slightly.

The colt wasn't sure what to think of the filly staying here with him, he was unsure of what the stallion might think about the matter. He knew that he would see where they were and probably make them go back with him. "I don't know if you should... It might cause you trouble.." He said in a thoughtful way as he watched her with his strange blue eyes.

Tossing her head all of a sudden Koha allowed one of her cheeky smiles to errupt upon her delicate features. Her soft, friendly golden orbs stared back into the colts strange blue ones Awww your not afraid to walk a little on the bad side. I'm not. Besides, we are old enough to be coddled and mothered and we have done nothing wrong. I wonder what is outside these lands. she looked into the distance though she could not see through the dense trees into the other world. Though she had no immediate desire to go off and leave this paradise, one day the urge to explore would take over.

The colt looked out at the trees that were around them. "Beyond these trees there are mysteries and adventure." He said with a smile then started to walk. They needed to find water first or they would get dehydrated too quickly in the summer's heat. It almost seemed as if he knew exactly where he was going but he was merely following the wind which was showing him the direction to go in. He glanced behind him to see if Koha was following him, but again it was her choice of whether she wanted to do so or not.

Brown soaked harks of the flicka swivelled to catch his words and the slight creature felt her heart quicken in her chest. Excitment bubbled within her as she watched the colt as he began to walk off. Only one look was cast over her shoulder, the way they had come, before she gracefully bounded after the colts form. She did not come right up beside him but stayed by his flank, so he would still lead. She looked around the large trees, seeing small woodland creature, scurring about with their normal routines

As she followed him a slight smile could be seen appearing on his handsom features. It was clear that he didn't really want to be alone, even though he didn't really mind it as must. He could sense the presence of the water even more now and knew that they were near it. He started to go a bit faster, wanting to get a drink. He was thirsty, and hungry.

Koha watched where she placed her dainty, amber hooves yet when she could, she looked up to the colt she was following. He would not be able to see so she was free to watch him when she could and get lost in her thoughts. She could smell water soon enough and when the colt picked up his speed she eagerly followed suit, wanting to quench her thirst. The smell got stronger and soon enough Koha could hear the running water

Upon reaching the water the colt came to a stop with his front hooves only just out of the water as he dipped his muzzle into it and started to drink. He didn't stop drinking for quite a while before looking up to see where the filly was. Water dripped from his maw and froze in the air before falling to the ground like crystals, glinting for a few moments before melting again into the warm earth to wet the dust slightly. He didn't even notice what was happening as he watched the filly. He still didn't know why she had chosen to come with him instead of just staying there with the stallion. He tossed his head then shook it as he turned, lettin ghis hoof touch the water slightly, turning it into ice around it, though the ice melted again as soon as he removed his hoove. He shook his head and turned, walking over to where there was a tree next to the riverbanks sandy shore. He lowered himself onto the ground and rolled before just lying there.

Iti Koha reached the waters edge and lowered her tiara to the sweet liquid. It was refreshing and cool and quenched her thirst well. Closing her lids over her gently orbs, the flicka relished the taste and feeling of the water travelling through her mouth and down her throat to her stomach. She drank for a long time, her body still and relaxed, orbs covered by tri-coloured lids. It was nice, quiet and peaceful. Sun streamed down to warm her coat and bird song tickled her harks. Finally she stopped drinking and just let her muzzle rest in the running water. Slowly her lids lifted and through half open orbs she watching the colt side long as he played with the water. Koha wondered what it was like to be able to control water. To be able control the earth, it took alot of will power and also body strength. The flicka did not understand her abilitied fully yet she had come far from the begining and was well learned with her art. She felt connected to her powers, they were apart of her. Yet she wondered how she had got them. The colt too. Was his mother gifted. Maybe, but not as much as he was, she knew that much. He went to roll and lay and she stayed where she was till her mug got numb from the cold of the water. Raising it in a slow and lazy manner, she gave her head a nbit of a shake. That turned quickly into a full body shake then a stretch. The flicka felt a small pang at the absence of Spud yet she had chosen to follow the colt. Looking to him she wondered where he was going. Where ever he went, it was sure to be exciting no doubt. She wondered if the stallion and mare missed them or were wondering where they were. She wasnt worried though. Fresh grass grew close to the water so the young mare wandered over to graze a little, since she hadnt eate for a while. Ocassionally her friendly gaze lifted to lance at the colt You have alot of power her voice cut across erruptly as she looked up at him does your mother posses any power? it was a casual question and she went back to grazing as she awaited his response

Bird could be heard singing in the trees of the forest as the colt lay on the damp ground. The sun was hidden behind light clouds that promised rain in the future but not heavy storms. He glanced up at the clouds before looking at the filly as she asked her question. "No, she doesn't." He spoke almost thoughtfully, as if he couldn't quite understand why he would have power but she would not have any. Might he had gotten it from his father? Most likely. He then got up, stretching both his front legs out far to the front and lowering himself slightly before shaking his head and neck. His muscular bosy was relaxed as he walked over to the filly, lowering his head to graze near where she was grazing. He had no questions to ask her though she could ask him more questions if she wanted, he didn't mind. And the sound of the birds and the water trickling not too far away from them was making him be in an even more pleasant mood.
The little creature's feathered wings fluttered noiselessly and almost invisably as she flew through the trees. Her little face showing how anxious she was for the safety of the filly that she was meant to be watching. She'd thought that the filly would come back but it has been way too long and they only seem to have wandered further away. Spud knew where the filly was, there was a thread that linked them and she could effortlessly follow it to find her. She was making sounds that were close to whimpering, it made a light breeze follow her, as if it wanted to know what was wrong so that it could help her in some way or find someone that could help her. It was almost as if the air and the trees themselves were growing anxious with her, like they were concerned. Spud was a magical creature different from all the rest and so was connected to the magical spirit's of all things living and not living. As she reached the place where the filly and the cold was she saw the colt start to graze next to the filly. She flew straight at him and punched him in the side with quite violent movements before moving to hug the filly's neck tightly.

As she grazed contently, delicate harks picked up a strange sound. Paying not too much attention to it Koha continued to graze happily along side the colt. She was thinking of his response and also, as he was, that he must have gotten his powers from his sire. That only added to the young mare's suspicions on who his sire was. These thoughts led to other thoughts, such as why the colt was not given a name. It was something terrible to the flicka. Imagine not having a name. She decided to find one for him...eventually. It was hard to find one that suited him. Her thoughts were interrupted by a small, fuzzy cannonball colliding with such violence against the colt. Suddenly alert, Koha jumped with surprise and her pools grew wide as she sought out the source of the disterbence. It came to her quickly and as Spud wrapped herself around the flickas neck, which was much to big for her to hold completly, Koha let out a shrill nicker of surprise, acknowledgment and pleasure. Her velvet soft mug was rubbed against the magical creatures body with such fondness. It lit up the mare's pretty features to a blissful raidience. Oh how she had missed her small friend. And to feel that familiar embrace was comforting and pleasing to Iti Koha. Nuzzling the bright creature more the flicka exclaimed Spud! What are you doing here? How did you find us? How are you? I missed you! words streamed out non stop all filled to the brim with excitement and happiness. Over and over she nuzzled a new part of her friends body, feeling like she would nearly exlpode if she did not express her love and pleasure

BOdy was moved to one side as something collided with him, but he did not jump. The force of the blows that the little creature was giving him were quite surprising when you looked at her size. He could see it was Spud and guessed that she was blaming him for Koha not going back to the stallion and the mare. He snorted slightly in amusement before the little creature went to Kiha. He then lowered his head and started grazing again, letting the taste of the damp grass fill his mouth before he swallowed.
Spud finally let go of the filly's neck, her face filled with relief and happiness at the same time. She flew over to the river and let her little hands touch the water lightly before she wiped it on her face. She then flew and sat on a large boulder near the two horses to watch them. She wouldn't let the filly out of her sight again, ever. The stallion might kill her if she let that happen.
